Religions

First may I say I REALLY enjoy this mod and everything in it, although I can't seem to get religions to work. I've installed the patch, and as I'm writing this my friend is installing the mod and we're going to play MP. But, last night, I tried single player and I couldn't found religions, no NPCs could either. I stopped playing at about 800 AD (no religions)
From what I read you use a great prophet to found religions, but how? Or is it bugged?

A religion should founded automatically when a great prophet is born. If neither you nor the AI are having any founded then my first guess would be that something is wrong with the file CvEventManager.py. That's one of the files updated in the patch for 0.9.4 so I'd suggest reapplying the patch carefully before we try anything else.

That will be a side effect of the religion problem. Are religions working correctly for him?

During gameplay its always the first 2 or 3 religions that dominate the rest of the game. With later religions could we make the chances of it spreading naturally greater? Just to add more dynamics to diplomacy of the game.

Also, does the AI understand the Religious victory? Ive never seen them attempt it

It would be good to spice up the religion mechanics a bit. Not sure what I can do but I'll make a note to review the possibilities at some point.

It depends largely on leader personality and civics. Leaders running Theocracy and/or Fundamentalism may attempt it, no one else is likely to bother. It's been a long time since I looked at the code for this, it's probably in need of a review.
