remove winter from terrain?

My enemy has turned the whole lands into winter landscape. Is there a way to get rid of the ice when I conquered the land? The "spring"-spell doesnt help so far since it works just in deserts. :-(

Is there a wiki or so with a complete description of the spells, since the ig. help doesn't cover all. ?

I think vitalize (the nature 3 spell) should work, or the ritual genesis(?). You might have to vitalize it a couple of times to get it to plains/grassland though, im not sure.

Scorch (Sun I) can turn Snow to Tundra, but you'll need Vitalize Nature III) or the Genesis ritual to make it particularly productive again.



May I assume this enemy is Illian? Their Temples of the Hand turn all land within 2 tiles to Snow when built, but if for some reason (an event, the End of Winter Option) there was temp terrain there at the time it won't stay Snow for long. In my modmod, they instead temporarily turn land within 3 tiles to snow each turn, but the tiles will slowly revert back on their own once the temple is removed by capturing the city or an inquisition.
