Reputation Penalty for breaking agreements and declaring war?

Lets say you have research agreement, trade agreements, open borders etc...and you declare war.

Is your rep screwed for the rest of the game? With all other civs? (like in civ 3/4)

Is it best to wait for all your agreements to expire before you declare war?

I don`t think the AI minds open borders and research agreement breaking.

However. Declare war and the rest of the world will think you are a warmongerer. If you want a clean rep, never declare war. Wait for the AI to attack. This isn`t a big deal in higher difficulties as your neighbours will go to war with you no matter what anyway.

I`m not sure if Prince difficulty AI even wages wars. Obiously it`s impossible not to piss them off in the end.
