Oz, here I am back again with a short'n'sweet web site with lots of info on British AA Guns throughout the decades:

Gracias, Top Gun -- and Mithadan and Jatibi and The Moyle and Thamis -- I've added another dozen or so myself since the last "official" update. My problem now is that I have literally forty or so more I'd like to add -- but there are already enough that the "simple" task of editing a post (and thereby maintaining any sort of organization) has become unwieldy.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Oz

I like to go here for maps to refer to when doing things like placing cities. The only problem I run into with these maps is that some of the names can be hard to read.

I know I haven't updated this in awhile (in the present format, it's REALLY cumbersome ... after all, any organizational format eventually hits size issues :( ) but there seems to be a mildly widespread interest in maps of Mars, so I added one --

A Map of Mars

under the "physical maps" section.

I have found two links that don't work so far:

World Maps - Resources, Vegetation & Physiography
http://www.wildwales.fsnet.co.uk/civ.html

SOME LINKS:

I also have a DBA link to add for Late Byzantine armies:

http://www.umiacs.umd.edu/~kuijt/dba153/ByzantineVariant.html

And another about Byzantium and its Enemies circa 520 – 1071 AD:
http://www.brumbaer.de/Wm/AMByzantine.pdf.

Lastly, the Theban Tribunal Sourcebook has some nice Byzantine links:
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Labyrinth/2398/bginfo/social/merc.html

I appologize if some of these are already in the grand list, but here are some sites I've found particularly interesting / helpful. I can't think of any fitting descriptions for them, and some of them practically describe themselves, but have a quick look around in each to see what they're all about :)

Civilizations in Africa
Historia
digNubia
Early British Kingdoms
First Nations Histories
History Link 101
Mesopotamia - The British Museum
Mississippian Artifacts
The Roman Empire
Timeline of Art History
The Nest of the Snowowl

This is a request:
I'd like a worldmap with the C3C civ's starting points added. I'm sure some of you could rattle it off by heart, and it would be good to have when adding starting locations on downloaded maps that don't have them already. Of course I could do a google search for Hattusas and some of the others I have problems with, but then I'm lazy, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. ;)
One downloadable jpg is better than gazillions of possibly useful links (in this case). :)

I think perhaps that ozymandias should update the first post - some of the links are no longer valid

Good point -- I'll start going through these and updating where appropriate, although it'll take awhile to get through all the links.
