Retake or raze

Ok so in this thread i lost antium to persians via culture flip.

Should I retake it or raze it in the upcoming war aginst persians(the size during flip was 2, now its 8). In other words, is the number of roman citizens sufficient to warrant no future flips?

I already hurried FP in the Aztec lands.

Definitely re-take and keep it...unless you have a spare settler that you can send in your stack to rebuild immediately after razing.

I find it's almost always preferable to keep the city. I believe there was a discussion on the pros and cons in this thread: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=313823&page=4

Anyway I kept it. It was all persian so i ordered my troops to leave the city and re captured it next turn to raze it(no abandon option in vanilla).
