Iroquois economy stabilizes as a result of the successful war against Michigan!
Spanish volunteers arise in response to the Cuban/Amazonian invasions!
-World Events-
The city of Atlanta has been founded by the Georgian Empire, and is a symbol of that nation's growing power and greatness. Another major city has been founded in Spain, Maracabio. Another city which has come to prominence in these times is the oceanside trading city of Juno in Yukon.
Copper Age spreads to the north and south! The Souix and Iroquois nations have been the first in the Great lakes region to enter into this new age. South American nations have also begun reaping the benefits of the new age. Both the Andes Tribes and the Amazonian people have entered the Copper Age.
The Columbian Rebellion has ended! Peace has been signed and the Columbian ruler has been given autonomy by the Yukon leadership. However the recent contact with the militiant Souix people has the people of Columbia worried, and the possibility of closer ties with the motherland remains very probable.
Peace has been signed in the north! Michigan has ceded a large portion of its territory and has paid a hefty price for its earlier agression. The Iroquois have been the main beneficiaries of the Michigan defeat, though the Michiganese remain bitter and war may one day return to the Lakes.
Just as war ends in the northern parts of America, it erupts with a vengeance in the south! THe smaller of the war that have erupted is the Queztal-Aztec War, in which the Queztals have invaded the southern Aztec Empire, making great gains against minimal resistance. However, now the Aztec army has returned from the north and a major battle is imminent.
Another major conflict has begun further south as Amazonians and Cubans launch a cooperative invasion of Spain. The Amazonian forces attacked first and were brutaly repulsed by the more advanced Spanish forces, though heavy casualties were inflicted. While the Spanish were fighting to the south, however, the Cuban Empire has landed and laid siege to he great city of Madrid, as Spanish defenders do their best to prevent the Cubans from crossing the rivers gaurding the city. The Spanish navy attempted a sortie against the Cuban one, but saw it was outnumbered and quickly retreated to safer ports. (-1 army size for Spain, -2 army sizes for Amazonia)
