Looks like fun but with tech trading on the game will be a couple of civs forming a partnership with trade of techs and everyone who doesn't find a partner will be meat for those with. It goes the same with tech brokering just more difficult in planning tech and trade. How do you not seek a trade partner? Then with seas, oceans & islands there will be civs isolated that fall behind fast. No one will trade with them because they have nothing anyone wants.
That is why I never play anykind of Tech Trading. Each time I have it always goes that way. I've been on both sides / the haves and the have not's.
I'm available if there is no Tech trading.

I totaly agree, no techtrading. Its lame if u can double research by making a pact.

With the current map type, there shouldn't be anyone on an isolated island, I don't think. But the tracker is down right now so let's take this time to discuss whether or not we want tech trading on or not. Personally I am fine either way and will leave it up to you guys. So what is it going to be?

Tech brokering ON is clearly a big NO for me - but, if a strong majority favor this option, I could play with Tech Trading. However my preferred alternative will be without neither of them.

Very well then, it looks like the tech trading will be turned off. As for leaders, you may pick whoever you want (everyone else already have made their decision.)
