Return to 2 Civs ...

I don't know what happened. I played Hats turn for the Egyptians and went to open the Russian turn and my computer crashed. I did all the security things to make sure I had no infection and all was good. I went to start my Old Vanilla Civ and it won't start. I've had enough, I'm sorry to say. I'm not pleased to leave y'all in a lurch. My BtS continues to work fine so I'm not going to redo to fix this. My password is 525. Pass my turn and game on to someone else.:sad:
 
oh no - did you try rebooting? We might be able to chase down a replacement or we might have to revert to Alt-Q (retire) for Chas.
 
Sorry to hear about your problem, Chasbold. Assuming hedoesn't resolve the problem, I would prefer to find someone to take his place.
 
Of course, I rebooted and when I try to start Van Civ it gives me a 1/2 second hour glass, I hear the computer hum a little extra for a few seconds and then nothing. To resolve the issue, I must uninstall all and start from scratch. I've done this 2, 3, 4 times now when there have been Vanilla Civ difficulties in a couple of games. I am done with un-upgraded vanilla games. Sorry guys, its too much of a hassle.

It's a pity that the city placement is a total waste... and city razing is disabled :) Hopefully I still could be a formidable opponent for you all later in the game.
 
Welcome aboard Moens. I'm not worried about you being a formidable competitor. You've beat me enough times to put the fear of God in me every time I see your name in one of my games... ;)
