Return To Our Roots: The Way it Was

To Sumeria:
From Nineveh:
It was supposed to be a secret.

Sharkey II's plan had worked. At this moment Ninevite troops were attacking Phoenician military bases in groups called Camerians. Camerians consisted of charging melee troops, especially spearmen, charging the enemy at a relentless speed while screaming. They were supported by archers who fired arrows into the back of the enemy lines, called Fire Archers, and other archers who attacked the front lines from trees and cliffs, called Sniper Archers.

Accidentaly double posted, stupid server.

Ramaxes lay in his bed, stricken down by the plague spreading his people. He grimaced as a new jolt of pain spread through him.
This had come from his peoples misuse of the river, he tought. And a set of laws (sanitation OOC) might have prevented it.
Being visibly crippled byt he plague, there was a great boost in the morale (economy OOC) of his people, who saw that their leader was even as them: vulnerable to plague, and able to grow tired.
He ordered hsi people to spread away from the river.
Then he and his Twelve, the court of advisors, sat down to draw up laws.
It took three weeks, but when they emerged, the society sprouting on the Indus Plains was to be entirely transformed.
Basic sanitation was added everywhere. Military laws made the army a much more efficient force, while the people grew happier to know that they had less time in the army, and longer lives. (OOC less army, more training)
Ramaxes had quickly gotten well again, but the disease had caused him to feel much more sympathy with the common people. These days, he lived little in his great house, and what money he spent, he mostly earned himself as an arbitor.

I know I gave my orders and stuff on AIM, but why the heck did you do two updates in one day?

no, its one update every day. I did the before update the night before and couldn't post it, I posted it in the morning, and at 10:00 I did the next one. I am sorry if I am going to fast but I kinda wanna leave the Iron Age. It will be every day until that day comes or when alot of diplo is posted and un-answered. One paragraph stories are acceptable but one line stories are not. The only rule in this game is WRITE. Thats it, I am bored at school and when in Math (I am at the front so its hard to talk) I start a story for Sumer and finish it on the computer for 10 minutes, I dont think it takes too long but if its a big problem, please tell me. :)

Time was nothing to one immortal, and Ramaxes knew this. He had personally journeyed to every single village that his people had encountered, and his own hand had been the one that shook the tribal chiefs' in partnership. These minor tribes had come willlingly when Ramaxes Himself had dealt with them, for even though he had not been their leader, they had heard stories of the immortal man leading the strange purple people. (OOC: Yeah theyre not purple people but what the hey.) Grudgingly, the tribes had accepted his laws, but they had been accepted. Training and discipline was still maintained, and they army had swelled. And the new tribes had greatly increased commerce, for several outlying tribes that he had not really heard of were now trading with his people by way of the new assimilants. (OOC grow economy)
But with many new people, new holes in his laws were being found, and many advisors spent their time making new laws. There would have to be a greater code of laws... (OOC: Start construction of Ramaxes' Law Code Great Wonder, effects: +1 eco, +2 training, +1 edu)
But Ramaxes was restless, and his feet were weary. Only one solution to this was avaiblabe, and it came in one flash of divine inspiration: boats. The " curraghs " of his people were few and crude, but they were boats! On the same day that the last chief had accepted his pact, Ramaxes had taken a curragh and sailed down the Indus River, giving orders for his people to refine the curragh before coming after him. (OOC start research into better boats)
Now Ramaxes had reached the river mouth and would sail westward along the coast, bringing empire with him. For he had heard rumors of peoples to the west... (OOC expand along south coast west of river.)

yeah im doing a lot of stuff, but most of it will take quite some time.

Sharkey IV looked along the battle lines. The best defensive structure he had was the Euphrates River. From there, he could attack the Phoenicians with little trouble. A group of 300 Ninevites was ordered to swim across the Euphrates River in the dead of night, and destroy as many Phoenicians as they could. After that, peace was to be settled with Phoenicia, for Sharkey III had never agreed to a ceasefire, unlike what the Phoenicians believed.

Am I doing something wrong? My orders were basically, to attack Phoenicia along the Tigris River with 300 men.

yes, people will probably send orders if you update
