I'm loved the Revolutions mod for Warlords butI felt that it had one major issue; the AI:s had problems handling it properly and thus they never got to grow those big evil nemesis empires I love to fight epic wars with. Now, Im curious: How does the BTS AIs handle the new version of Revolutions?

My laptop at college can't handle civ 4, so I haven't been able to play a full game in bts yet. I suggested that for future BTS versions, the espionage slider should also function to help suppress revolutions, for the reason that AIs do tend to not handle revolutions well.

In many of my tests, a few AIs are able to build large empires and other areas of the map are relatively balkanized with small empires.

Several changes in the upcoming release help the AI maintain a more stable empire by increasing the benefits of culture and happiness.

That is good to hear. And yeah I got the same result allthough no really big empires have emerged yet and it's 1950AD. It would be really neat if the AIs will improve. Cheers for a good mod still.

In my games and as the default config setting for HephMod (which includes Revolution), I always give the computer a very healthy Revolution IndexModifier discount. Right now it's set at .33. The config is very user-friendly (thanks, jdog!), so play with it to your heart's content. To be fair, however (that is, keep yourself challenged), you have to bump up the HumanIndexModifier by the same amount you decrease the global IndexModifier (because YOU know what you're doing, right;)).
