I like the Antigonids-Macedon idea, I just need to do some research and figure out how much I want to change. you could even start with a non-playable Alexandrian empire and spawn the Diodochi from it one by one.
I LOLed !!
edit : update! so after meeting with the Numidians and their Sid leader they started contacting me every single turn asking me for favors ! Give me this technology, again gimme this technology, cancel your deals with the Kushans, cancel your deals again, again, again, gimme this technology.... OH MY GOD!
so I used the WB and added some barbarians to take care of them. And they did.
and on the next turn, the Numidians spawned again..... Again WB and I erased all their units.
next turn Numidians spawned.. I am doomed!
- Crete, Rhodes, and Cyprus probably shouldn't be stable provinces for Carthage.
- Crimea should be renamed Taurica (more appropriate to the era).
- The oasis and olives for Ammonium should probably be moved 1N, both so that it can be at a more historically accurate location and so that Ammonium and the olives can be out of the Sahara Desert province and avoid all the barbarians there. Also, what city are the camels nearby meant for exactly?
Also, I don't think Moesia is really a good name for that province, given that Moesia was essentially what is now Bulgaria; I would suggest something like Roxolania.
