I see you have a "new" version with different Turkey-spawn. Can I safely update my version upto the newest revision, or should I copy my version and update only that one, because you say it's a test version.
And... there was a bug in the patch. If you downloaded the fixed files (Alpha9b_patch) before 10 AM Eastern (US) time you should re-download. Same link as before.
If I downloaded 9c at 7.00 am.(BST) this morning is that OK? Or do I have to do it again?![]()
@sedna: Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but...guys, I haz a problem. Serious one
1) All started when I tried getting the Turkish_Branch 'child-folder', and I did some delets-regets-etc.
2) It could not checkout in the mod folder of BTS, because...."access was denied" or something kinda like that. Neither checkout somewhere else and transfer the mod files to the BTS/Mods folder, because of the same thing. Tried reinstalling the Tortoise, making the Mods folder read-only....Utter fail, the problems still exists.
Any idea of solving it? And sorry if it is a noobish problem.![]()

I was looking into the svn repository and noticed an entire Turkish three. What is the deal with that? Are we working on the new three or still the main one?
We're working on the main one. The Turkish Branch is simply a branch I started for experimenting with Turkish spawn options (notably spawning closer to Constaninople and getting some troops in the Balkans). If successful, I will merge it back into the main branch.
That reminds me of a question I have for you. When we started, we made sure that Civ spawn regions didn't overlap because you thought that might cause a crash. In my Turkish experiments I've just moved their spawn region over, so it does now overlap with Byzantium, but I've yet to see any crashes. Do you know of a specific function that might crash with overlapping spawn regions? Of course I can re-draw the Byzantine core area, but I'm just curious.
