Building the Temple of Kukulkan before the Mayan can even tech calendar in a game about UHVs is not the nicest move...
 
I agree, but Greece is a run away civ.
 
Well the only house rule is no spawn killing but I also thought that giving a chance to people to build their UHV wonders was logical. No big deal, but it's a bit frustrating.
 
All civs have Unique Historical Victory conditions, for example as the Mayan I'm supposed to build the Temple of Kukulkan before 600AD (plus other stuff). Some other civs have a wonder UHV like France or the US. If you build all the wonders before those civs are able to even start them you're not giving them a chance.
Also playing as the Mayan is like playing in a sandbox against the barbs because you don't meet anyone for a very long time. You're just trying to optimize your civ and complete the UHV conditions. So now the only interesting part of the Mayan gameplay is gone.

You go to your victory screen ingame

And if you want to know what other's victory conditions are you have to go inside the mod and look at the UHVs from when you select a civ at the start of a new game.
 
Huh, there seems to have been an interesting discussion related to UHVs and wonder stealing I missed. It's true, thanks to Muffin's influence Greece is currently quite the run-away.

Would anyone like me to add any further house rules?
 
I mean, that ship has sailed. Don't you remember the onslaught of Muffin and Tigranes who together wiped out most other existing civilizations?
