She took a picture of him ("shot" him), developed the picture ("drowned" him), and hung the picture out to dry ("hung" him).
 
my riddle still isn't answered

A man was walking down a stairwell, when suddenly the lights went out. He immediately proceeded to sit down and begin to cry. Why?

When he sits down, he sits in a pile of doggie-do. Now his pants would look like he s**t himself when we walks out. Of course he would cry then. :D
 
He had just had an op to cure blindness, he thought it had returned.

more info, eh? well, I guess that you deserve a bit more. The power going out triggered something else, and that is why he was crying.

Ooh, I know! He had an electrical onion-spinning machine, and when the power went out, the onion flew off of the machine's spinning disk, and then the man caught it, but his extremely long finger nails cut through the onion, and then that stuff in onions that makes you cry made the man start crying. :D
