Pink is for Theatre District, and Purple is for the new district, so we'll just have to see what Purple color is associated with.

Here we go I think:

"New Districts
The most prominent of the new districts being added (and the one we were allowed to hear about) is the Government District. There can be only one of these in your entire civ, and it interacts directly with the updated government system. Based on your current government type, you will be able to build a number of new buildings in your government district, each of which unlocks policy cards."

One of the new wonders is temple of Artemis:

One of the new wonders is temple of Artemis:

It is a Greek/Roman temple, but it is still not clear which one it is though that is a contender

Governors details:

-7 in total, all uniquely named
-Amani the Diplomat: increases a your city's loyalty and decreases loyalty of nearby cities that belong to other civs
-Amani exerts pressure which increase the chance that a city may become independent and may join your civ.
-Amani can act as a 'super envoy' in a city state. Gives you suzerain bonus and exerts pressure.
-Cardinal is another governor type
-Unique art for each governor

Chateau Frontenac as a Canadian wonder is on the cover. Since other wonders that are included are on the cover as well (Statue of Liberty, Temple of Artemis, Delicate Arch), I suppose this is all but confirmed.

The 8 new civs will come with 2 unique buildings, 2 unique districts and 4 unique improvements. At least steam stays so.

Are we sure that it's an entertainment center on water and not a boardwalk district? Also, how likely is it that there are multiple buildings in districts that you have to choose from now? ie: Ferris Wheel or Stadium, but cant build both.

The Mediterrean-looking building in second screenshot is highly unlikely to be a mosque - it doesn't have a minaret. It's more likely to be a palace or a fortress of sorts; Middle-East or North Africa.

Governors:
The castellan will help you defend your territory.
The diplomat improves how other civs think about you if employed at home. Can also be employed at a CS where she counts as many envoys and reduces loyalty in nearby cities.

Wonders:
one wonder will generate governor points (or Governor Titles as they are called if I translate them back from German)

Districts:
the government district will generate governor points

City flips through loyalty:
seems to be based on population and not on culture

Spies can now reduce loyalty in enemy cities

It does indeed look like the Chateau Frontenac is to the right (or behind if you want) of the Statue of Liberty on the cover picture.

Perhaps Canada is one of the civs being added...

Looks like Fish Farms and Satellite Dishes are the new improvements, in far right bottom and far center top respectively. And I feel very confident that that big science-y construct is the Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station. The building shapes and dome are too spot on to be anything else.

It's hard to tell what the new resources are. But one is almost definitely Palm Oil, seen here top right corner. I'm seeing also what looks like gold in bottom right here. Very plausible since this is already available in some scenarios. Third could be whatever that white stuff is here at far left, next to the commerce district? Though those buildings (esp that cross-looking one) typically only show up in a district, so that could be not an improved resource but our 2nd mystery district!

Regarding the Boardwalk/Entertainment District, is it possible that a heavily upgraded Governor could provide the ability to build districts on the water? Since promoted Governors is meant to be useful for "tall" cities, that would make a lot of sense. I've thought about this before the announcement, as cities like Boston heavily expanded their square mileage by building out into the ocean.

Will be excited to see what else we can sleuth out.

It is definitely the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, that dome is iconic. Probably a new wonder requiring to be next to a campus and on a snow tile.

Boardwalk/waterfront district? Maybe it's just putting an entertainment complex on water? Having 2 districts providing amenities seems odd.

Added With a caveat

That is why it is in italics until we get more information

Thanks updated (can someone point out the Satellite Dishes I can't seem to see them)

I have had it in the districts section, but I have moved it to the wonders
