Did Muscat really appeared in the first livestream? Cause I didn't catch that...

Yes... your point being? I want them as the minor Civs they represent, not as separate City states.

Is there any evidence the Harappan were unified and not a series of city states with a shared culture? I know we've had Celt and Scythian, but at least they were contemporary names used for the people. The only name we have referring to the Harappan are from Sumer, where they're called Meluhha (thought to be Mel Akam in proto-Dravidian).

I've seen Zanzibar in the livestream too.

The live stream showed a great merchant that awards a governor tile. Hopefully this means there are new great people added to the game.

While I'm on the subject of great people, one thing I hope this expansion addresses is the AI's inability or unwillingness to generate points for certain types of great people. As is, the Pass function has limited use in lower/mid difficulties. I'd like to see this addressed somehow (the AI more proactive about building districts/buildings, a choice from a pool of great people in the current era, etc).

And while we're at it, I really hope they give specialists (or whatever we're calling them in this iteration of the series) a look.

That was Irene of Athenes, so they changed her ability (was Gain Tile Resource + Trade route before). I hope they changed some more of those boring "Gain Gold and Envoys" GMs.

"Zanzibar has been defeated".

Ok, that suggests Swahili/Kilwa won't be a Civ in the expansion. :D

It also suggests that wonders aren't going to indicate which civ is in or not, so Taj Mahal won't make the Mughals more likely suddenly now. I would have liked Swahili / Kilwa, but we have so many African civs that still need to be depicted, and i would like Ethiopia a lot. I think Ottomans are now almost certain to be in (since i thought that if they chose for the Hittites or Kilwa (maritime islam civ) the Ottomans would be less likely), but those two are now certainly not in the expansion, and that makes the Ottomans with their unique commercial hub more likely.

Just before we see the "Leader icons" which suggest Mr Khan, we do see Mongolia's Civ5 colours in the background of the blurred screenshots; burgundy with orange.

I think I also see their Civ5 "flame" symbol too.

I also think they might have a unique encampment? There seems to be a building on the edge of the wooden picket fence that I don't think we've seen before.

Also I think this is the "Matterhorn" natural wonder:

Oh man you know what would be a cool feature for Mongolia? An encampment that can move after being built. We can't make the cities move I don't think (especially with how districts are set up) but having a mobile encampment district would be pretty awesome IMO
Well to me, the screenshot I posted looks like big tent outside the encampment. So maybe that is possible?

Could also be a stable replacement as it is close to where it would be built.

It would be interesting to see Mongols in R&F.
Well I think with my colour and icon screenshots, accompanied with the leader icons confirms that Mongolia is in Civ6 R&F.
But like a "blurry confirmation" - it's like the word "confirmed" which could be "condemned" but you know it's says "confirmed".
