Rise and Rule for Civ3:Conquests

Or you could own the Prescott 3.2-3.6 ghz Pent 4 with the 1mb L2 cache or most preferably, the Cedar Mill 3.2-3.6ghz equipt with the groundbreaking 2mb L2 cache.

Both cost only a few bucks in todays dual/quad core market, a market in which offers nothing at all in added Civ3 performance over what these two can do for a fraction of the price

Neither of these two links appear to be working for me from the opening post in this section:

"Important: To be able to play RaR, you need the unit animation folders "World War II" and "Medieval Japan". These folders were part of the PtW addon, but are not included in C3C. However, the files are available to download individually here.
Or alternatively, just get the 'Extras Patch' containing only the units used in the RAR mod."

Are there any alternatives?

I was wondering, do I need to install RAR 1.03 before 1.04? If so, where can I download ver 1.03. None of the links work.

Ya one would be to look in your C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Civilization III Complete\civ3PTW\Extras folder for the files to copy

Thats if you own 'Complete' You never specified what version you had but if your riding on just the Conq Expansion pak then try surfin' this site for the files. IM sure there around

Or you could maybe get somebody to send them to you.

I have Civ3Complete and I found this extra folder. Where do I copy the files? To the Art/Unit directory in Conquests?

I've searched the web far and wide for the PTW extras, but I can't find it. The two links posted for the extras patch and it's components don't work. Since I'm stuck with normal conquests, I can't copy it from some separate section of my Civ 3 game. I've already tried looking in the normal PTW folder installed by Conquests, and it doesn't have the extras, either. No where in my Civ 3 folder structure are the extras.

If anyone knows where I could get the extras, I'd be more than happy. Thanks for any suggestions.

What I did was open up the extra folder to where you can see all the unit folders. I then opened up the RnR folder to the same place, where you see the all the units folders :)
2.Now with both windows open I proceeded one by one to drag the unit folders from "extras" over into the unit folders for "RnR"

THis is a good way to get aquinted with the file structure for future meddlings like morepercise types of patching.
THe fastest way to what you ask is by just draging 'extras' art folder to the open window of the mod where its showing the its 'Art' folder and then just letting go anywhere in the window but directly over top the target file. You will instantly be asked about replacing files, say 'Yes'. Now Your done.

i've just installed rar 1.02 ... and begun playing
in civcontent it says rar 540 turns
extended 9xx turns
..i chose extended mode, but it still says 540 turns ingame, i thought it just was a bug so i kept playing for 540 turns, then it ended ..or you could pick "don't quit just yet, do some extra turns" or something like that
what have i done wrong, why doesnt it work as it's supposed to?

You must change it manually in Game Limits window before game is started. I don't know why it is not set as default to 915.

ouch, well ty, tried to write 1000 turns, but it had to be exact 915 turns,
..for the game that i am playing atm then, is it possible to change the turns with a trainer or some kind of tool?

haha, sry, got a bit abstinent ;)
i worked it out against my expectiations
installed C3MT 1.12.5 and was able to change turn limit to 915
lets hope it's doesnt start to bug out randomly some turns into the future :E
