Messengers arrive at the Palace. It seems the great Daimyo Eclipse rests at our borders and offers knowledge for trade. He was followed by an emissary from Daimyo semental offering the same knowledge. Daimyo Cyc gives food and saki to the messengers and tries to decide which Daimyo actually researched the knowledge and which is just a tradesman. He also sends a messenger to his powerful neighbor to the North.

"Speed is of the essence", he tells his young emissary.
