Thanks for the warning! It will be a close fight... The first round was one by us, but there were some casulties. Some of the crew went on land in case the ship is sunk... If it stays afloat, they will hop back on board again, but if not, I hope you don't mind if they continue their way on foot?!

On another issue, I have noticed that Lanzelot is alternating between his German version of C3C and his English one. He has done this for the last seven turns, whereas before he only alternated occaisionally. This pattern worries me. I started thinking about this after muzbang told me about the consecutive turn gliche. Just coincidence?

Therefore I would like to make a request that Lanzelot only play in one format, German or English. Oda may want to check his saves to find out if Calis is alternating his versions too. I'm even going to ask that Lanzelot make this a rule in the new ISDG game with the German site. Sorry, I notice things like this. Just taking precautions.

I'd like to make it a standard, therefore I've also asked TomBxx to use only one version in the CDG1 game.

It just depends on where I happen to be, when playing a turn. (Didn't even notice I've been "alternating" the last seven turns...)
I have three "main" computers where Civ is installed: a netbook (German edition), which I use at work or when traveling; a notebook (C3C Chronicles, English version), which I use at home when sitting by the fireside or watching a movie with my wife; and finally my old desktop (German edition), which I use when at home when I'm alone (or want a bigger screen).

Don't think there's any difference between the different versions other than translated names for units, techs, buildings etc. (And other than that it's sometimes very difficult to make a scenario, developed on an English edition, run on a German edition For that reason I was forced to play e.g. Eric_A's Hinge of Fate game on my English version exclusively. Never had the time to make it run on my German installations. But then: the turn times were so slow in that game anyway, that it made no difference, whether I play immediately or wait till I get home...)
