Rnes9: Run for President Too.

I echo that.

sorry all. have had a few real life issues that have kept me on the off side this week. car died last weekend, been looking for a replacement most of my spare time. been at work (where i do most of my cfcing) half the days, and so was too busy with the week's work to do a good chunck of time on cfc (enough to do an update), i've checked in ofcourse (hey, its a drug, i'm helpless against it), but didnt have a good span of time i'd know i wouldnt be bothered by work.
if i dont get around to it today (which i may not if the stupid printer keeps up its uncooperating) then i'll do it over the weekend.
i realy should have posted this earlier, but i kept thinking "tomorow i'll do it, bound to have enough time"

I will stay in this nes as well if it comes back..

ye, i know, i havent exactly been a great mod lately. all i can do is say sorry.
i'll understand if (some of) you dont want to continue the game after such a long pause, but i hope that doesnt happen.

i'm sorry, but i'm not gonna use the player's char names, i'll just use colors for now, cause it takes too much work to go back and forth to the first page to get the char names (both me to write it, and you to read it, lol) and it aint like the story aspect of this game has been all that heavy anyway.

so,
blue (Cuivienen) and gray (MjM) seem to be in a border clash, both having taken two of eachother's states this turn (VA+WV vs NC+SC). blue is also taking over the abandoned dark green's territory (NY+ half of MA). and both are chiping away at their western neighbors (MO and IN).

orange (North King) and green (Sheep) seem to be continuing a fight over the midwest, and west coast. Texas (which switched hands this turn) and California ofcouse figure largely in this fight, while the other states sit by and wait for more attention.

While there are some attempts by candidates to take control of states outside their clear areas they mostly fail due to larger support for the candidates seen as more "local".
New York's second place candidate is one of the "western" candidates for example.

the following states are so completely controled by their "owner" that unless you suspect that your state (if in this list) is going to be attacked by another player, there's no need to campaign here, everyone in the state is already voting for you.
Code:
California Sheep - Green
New Hampshire Blackheart - Dark Green
Vermont Blackheart - Dark Green
Illinois Cuivienen - Blue
Pennsylvania Cuivienen - Blue
Florida MjM - Gray
Georgia MjM - Gray
Tennessee MjM - Gray
Alabama MjM - Gray
Louisiana MjM - Gray
Mississippi MjM - Gray
Wisconsin Sheep - Green
Oklahoma Sheep - Green
Kansas Sheep - Green
Nevada Sheep - Green
New Mexico Sheep - Green
Idaho Sheep - Green
New Jersey Cuivienen - Blue
the same is ALMOST true for these states:
Code:
Washington North King - Orange
D.C. Cuivienen - Blue
Oregon North King - Orange
Arizona North King - Orange
Ohio Cuivienen - Blue

all other states either have another candidate (other then the winner) vying for it, or the winner just doesnt have most of the voters convinced, but noone else is trying for the state(so they win the state cause noone puts up a fight)

taking one of the states listed above from teh winner will take a very heavy attack (ie the good majority of your week's time) and will likely only succeed if they dont defend the state (ie they dont spend any time or money there the turn you attack)

I will post orders when I get the chance in a few days time.
