I redownloaded the file to test it, and I'm not sure why the file was corrupt, but it may have something to do with all the + signs that Filegone put in the spaces. I replaced those w/ underscores and I'm uploading the new file now.
 
Ok, the new file is uploaded and ready for downloading. Post if you have any problems.
 
I found one bug or mistake. UnitInfos uses word GREEK_COMPANION and UnitClass HORSE_COMPANION. I changed Class name to GREEK_COMPANION in UnitClassinfos.xml ja now OK. Maybe You changed name in some reason under development?
 
Thanks for pointing that out :goodjob: That actually occured because HORSE or GREEK, one of the two, was used in Lost Units for the Cataphract, while the other was used in Second Unique Units for the Companion Cavalry. I've uploaded a patch with that fix onto the first post.
 
Have you played the Assassin mod? This would go well with this combination.
 
I might add the assassin mod, but the next thing I add will probably be the two hidden units.

Also, the download link for the Italy version is fixed. I must have posted the delete link instead of the download link before.

Nice mod. Why there isn´t any new leaders? I would like to c this mod with Next Level mod´s leaders and with Fin mod included :lol: That would be way cool! -Alexander- BTW Just awsum units :goodjob:
 
Perhaps adding a lot of leaders to this mod would be a good idea, but if we begin adding civs will we ever stop? People will always say "oh add so and so civ that will complete it". But it wont, if this mod goes that way, robo will have to fulfill everyones nationalistic desires and that'll never happen.

There are so many civs now, if robo started adding them he would never finish.
 
Filegone is back up :D! That was really frustrating when it was down, because all my mods were hosted there.
 
Great Ill been looking for such mod, the big question is how this mod effects the AI? Plz tell me it doesnt change it at all, would love to use those units.

About lost unit mod; Does the Uberpowered commando still there? If so it must be removed or changed.
 
How about the New Religious Special Units? are they in? In sevos GREAT (but AI ruining) mod he removd the commandos and religious units cuz the AI couldnt really handle them.

If there is no such plan could someone plz tell me how to remove em my self.

Yeah the religious units are part of this mod. Ive seen the AI use them quite a bit, but not exclusively. When i get crusaders or mujahideen my army is almost solely composed of them.

As an example I allied with egypt once to attack Alexander, we both shared Islam. I felt a warm fuzzy feeling as egyptian mujahideens assisted mine in purging the greeks from that world.

Ahh, religious warfare.

hm, what about say the commando unit? with the invincible trait that sux bigtime! The AI got no way of defending against it and I can take a pack of commandos and run trough every city on the highest difficulty levels.

I really like the commando graphics and I hope to be able to use it, but without it been such a uberunit, and not called commandos either cux the scale of civ3 doesn’t fit for it.
 
Alright, here are the changes I'm making now:
- Adding Mobile SAM and Mobile Artillery (Hidden Units mod)
- Adding Guerilla Unit (My own creation)
- Editing commando

I'll also add a new model and skin for the Zepellin once I get that to work with the mod (I'm currently having some problems with that)
 
Ok, the Mobile SAM and Artillery are added, but I couldn't find the commando unit infos, so I couldn't edit that. The guerilla will be added at a later date.

A shiny new donkey to the one who finds the unitinfos section for the commando.
 
How about downloads that work?

I mean I can download just fine (The mod +Italy) but when I go to unzip it it says. "Can not open file: Does not appear to be a valid archive"


EDIT: Try saving the files with no spaces. use _ for spaces or use no spaces/seperators for words. Then upload them.
 
so later on you will be adding your zapatista guerilla unit? What are the stats like?
