Role Playing Glorious Civilizations: #2 Augustus Caesar of Rome

Here is the military overview you wanted.

Hmm it does appear we are a bit undermanned. Btw it freezes sometimes when I load it as well. After about the 3rd or 4th try it will load.

Scipio's report to the senate.

We are undermaned, if Rome wants to bear the title of world pwoer, then we must build a suitable army. The best defense is a good offense, I demand that in the next turnset a minimum of 5 preats are constructed.

If a worker can be spared we would like one to improve our resources. If a worker can't be spared build one at Neopolis. After that we will go ahead and start production on a military unit of your choice.

Yes we have workers to spare. We will send two over to Neopolis immediately. Also don't worry about the general request, Rome and Antium will deal with it. You just focus on getting your city on its feet. (And those rebellious scum in order ;))

Please sir calm down. We now see the error in our foolish ways in not having a decent army. Also I'm assuming your going to leave it up to the domestic division to organize the building effort?

Rome and Antium will build 2 each and Cumae will build one. That should allow the order to be completed while keeping Scorpio under the maximum tax of 6 turns of building from each city.

Btw Warrior I love how you incorporated the Toy Story theme song into a civilization story  hahahahaha

If u say my leige, than build a culture building to expand the borders of the city.

Toy Story goes hard lol

 Wow dude the update literally came two days ago lol .....
Wait a minute I've been wondering why no one was giving orders, your telling me you guys didnt even know there was an update? Whats going on?

Latest update is on page 5 for all of you who didn't know lol

Well I planned on doing a state of the Union update soon since no one was commenting. Ill just make sure to put an emphasis on current foreign relations.

lol i was almost sure we were at page 6 since a week ago :p
anyway, nothing to me to do :(

Okay I am going to start by saying that this is just a quote "fluff update" and that the real update was posted 2 day ago from today and is located on page 5. During this update I will just describe the current events/problems in the empire.

Okay now that that is out of the way lets get down to business.

We are still on at least fairly good terms with everyone... The world is actually pretty boring ahem *peaceful* other than the Iroquois city state declaring on our boys the Japanese (who are an empire). I doubt a city-state will over power an empire, but hey you never know what can happen. We're pretty much powerless to do anything, since we are still in 1500 BC and transportation hasn't evolved yet.

We have a few trading options. the majority of the civilizations refuse to trade with us for some reason however.

It appears that there is a vast reservoir of untapped resources directly east of us. We really need to get those lands settled and use those resources to strengthen our economy.

My city is very unhealthy. As of late many terrifying diseases have had our citizens dropping like flies. My priests have told me that the diseases were punishments from God, but this can't be since none of Rome's other cities are suffering. It is incredibly obvious now, yes the direct link between health and diseases can no longer be ignored. I have failed as a leader by letting my city slip into such a dismal state. Once my scientists are done researching construction, I will see to it that there is a public wash built in every community.

There are also a list of gov't jobs still available they include:
General of the Navy/Air Force
Lord of A city
Nobleman - 6 positions need to be filled before I re-activate them.
Rule Change: Anyone can hold any number of positions until more participation arrives. If more participation arrives lol.

Oh, I almost forgot the economy is slipping big time.

-14 GPT!!!! That is ridiculous, I sure wish our treasurer would provide us with a solution lol.

Edit: Waiting for orders from General Olaf and Red Spy before we can proceed.

Run the treasury into the ground, then lower it until we're gaining gold. That will be all.

That's why it says 'Waiting for orders from General Olaf and Red Spy' :p

Oh, missed that
