[Rollover] Stops working sometimes

This is a problem I encounter every game, for a while it seems like the game isnt "on top" and rollover and the mouse wheel stop working, this drives me nuts while picking a tech or unit to go for from a quick menu. I play the game in fullscreen mode. I have not altered the game in any way and it didnt work pre 1.52 however I never tried 1.09 as that was obsolete when I got the game. Im ready to stop playing the game over this and the multitude of other bugs.

Im running a dell pentium 4 windows XP Nvidia GEFORCE4 MX440 2.8gigaherts + 2.8 gigahertz 512mb ram SP2 1024x768

I have some problems post 1.52 with rollover. Usually after I have given the last unit orders and no other units need to be cycled. I did find out, that if you roll the mouse over one of the map buttons (grid, ect) in the lower right corner that it "wakes up" the pointer. Yes, I would consider this a bug, but it is very easy to workaround.

Thanks alot for the tip, worked like a charm. Its funny I've tried so many different things/combinations of things to get past this I was beginning to think it was something at my end.

I'm just wondering if this is the same bug I stumbled across in the original game (and which I believe may still not be fixed yet, even after 2 patches)... if you have "right-click menu" enabled in the game options then this is probably the cause of your intermittent rollovers.

Check your game settings and deselect that option if you have it enabled, this could well be the source of your problems. If not then this may be another bug.

You are correct, and this has been an issue since 1.00. However, it is a bug since turning off the Right-Click Menu should not be the fix. People should be able to use Right-click menu if they want to.
