maybe leoreth updated Doc and we just didn't notice?

That is also true :p that might be it. Or maybe this is actually an older version. The only one who knows is NKN

Wait what mod is that? Someone earlier said RFC DOC but that does not look like it because of the civics. I've never seen those civics before.

Some Russian cities, including the Roman Moscow, have declared independence and formed a new state. With its army in the Middle East and the Ottoman Caliphate denying right-of-passage, Rome must acquiesce. However, it remained angry, and thus declared war upon the Moors, the Arabs, and the Portuguese.

The latter two now have their capitals in Roman hands, though the remainder of their empires are remaining alive. The Almohad Caliphate, with their control over the Western Mediterranean, have thus far avoided this fate.

The continent of Europe and the nearby regions have occupied all of Rome's attention until now. Yet when a new landmass was discovered far to the west, there was little option but to wage war against its natives.

After conquering a small city in Eastern Arabia, peace was quietly made with the remnants of the Abbasid Caliphate, mainly to enable a more successful war against the Ottomans, wiping the latter out entirely.

Meanwhile, in the New World, the Aztec Triple Alliance capitulated to Rome, who in turn gave the province its conquered cities back. Rome was forced into yet another unwanted war in the Americas.

Peace with the Almohad Caliphate was finally reached, and the less fortunate Portuguese government (ruling from the island of Ponta Delgada of the western coast of Iberia) was destroyed.
