Pre-turn (900 AD) - Disband some Swordsmen; we're paying too much unit support.
I also tweak builds, changing some Lib builds in places I think they're not going to be worth it and choosing more Workers in places.
910 - I get a few tiles railed around Pyongyang.
920 - ditto.
Incas want to trade WMs. I get a gold from them out of the deal.
930 - Sumeria and the Hittites have Mil Trad.
HWacha kills Celtic LB
940 - Industrialization > Electricity
I cancel the lux deal with Sumeria now that it's run for 20 turns.
Up lux spending to 20%
Declare war!
Also, the Hittites are partway to Physics. A deal involving MT and Econ went from 6gpt last turn to 3gpt now. I take it.
Sumeria kills one MDI and captures a Worker.
Celts land a LB next to our capital.
Our people want the Military Academy
Bach's > Factory
950 - Crusader forces ACav to retreat; Knight finishes it off
Isin:
Knight kills Cav
Knight kills EW
Knight kills EW and the city is ours.
Seoul: Horseman kills LB
960 -
Coal Plant > Newton
970 - Aydin:
Knight retreats x2
Knight kills Musket
Knight dies to Cav
Knight dies to Cav
City holds
We lose a Hwacha, a Knight, and a Sword to Sumerian counterattacks.
Sumeria completes Smith's
980 -
Aydin part 2:
Cav kills ACav
Knight kills EW
Cav dies to EW
Cav kills EW and takes the city.
New Pusan captured by ACav that comes out of the fog!
Umma riots
Aydin riots
990 -
Lose two Cavs retaking new Pusan.
Our position is weak, but I think it'll turn around in the next couple of turns.
Lose Cav and two MDIs with the fall of Nemausus
1000 -
I'm leaving units unmoved here. If I were playing another 10 turns, I'd retake Nemausus, then go after Zabalam to shorten the front. With a steady front at Umma/Zabalam (and a new town between them -- to lock in the Ivory), I'd raid Marad with the Army stack and send Cavs south from New Pusan to conquer that peninsula -- Istanbul has Gems we can use.
