Ruff02 - Concurrent Succession Game

Well, I would have to say I see the big difference between my turns and 2 others.

1) I allredy build granaries/ligthouses/forges in Turfan and Madrass and they are same size as in other saves.
Turfan allredy has fishnet.

2) Karacorum and Deli are mach bigger and more productive in my save.
(Deli is size 13, Karokorym 8)
Unhappiness in Deli will be taken care of next turn with coming of Monarchy.

3) I build Harden Garden in Karokorum compare to library in Radiopil save. But in My save Library is not that far away.

4) I am taking advantage of orgonised religion
5) All our city and 3 hatty cities are buddist with 2 more missionaries on the way.

6) I have setler and next 2 turn behind = Ruff save.

7) It is my personal opinion that to use GS for academy with out burocracy that early is a bit a waste. Early Great Person are better to be used early for instant gratification discovering key technologies. We do not have any of that open for discovery in nearest fuature, so I did not produce Greate Person.

For me, this is another fairly easy decision. I vote for Mutineer as he has a nicer tech path, OB with Hatty, Hidden Gardens and nice city sizes. In my turn, someone founded Toa which means they are fairly advanced. We need to catch up and city size is the way to do this.

Votes (according to an unofficial audit) ...
pholkhero
bobrath voted for Mutineer
Mutineer voted for Mutineer
chriseay voted for Mutineer
Spinoza - mia
knupp715 voted for Mutineer
Ruff_Hi voted for Mutineer
radiopill

Yah, toss my vote in for Mutineer also. (and ruff_hi: Mutineer voted for his as well).

We have a winner. Mutineer, can you please post your save.

Teams for the next round are ...

Round 4, Team 1
Mutineer
radiopill
chriseay
bobrath

Round 4, Team 2
Spinoza - mia
Ruff_Hi
knupp715
pholkhero

Question - how many rounds? 10, 15 or 20. I would think we should go with 15.

Here is the save.

I finally found out how to put markers on ,ap, so I put my recomendations for future city sites.

Sorry, I played 20 turns.
with 15 turns one's a week we will not finish it untill end of time.
So, I do not see any reason to play less in peace time.

Report of my turns.
Spoiler :

Research wize - MOnarchy- Currency
We need it and it is extrimelly beneficial to as.
instant +2 commerce in all cities and market in our shrine city.
Hatty propoused to trade COL for Metallocasting.
Agreed, as it is very beneficial to as.
Currency-Calendar
(we will benefit from all this resources.)
Got GP in DEli, use it to discover Theology.
I want paper line open.
Trade Theology to hatty for compass (we need health and our trade income benefit to)
Calendar-Philosofy

I am preparing to ignore low part of tech tree for a time in preparation to GS assisted Liberalism slingshot to Nationalism.
I need access to paper and philosofy for that.
I intent to revolt to Pacifism/castle system probably, hire lots of scientiist, set research to paper-education-liberalism
Take Nationalism as free tech- gunpowder
Draft Muskets army and take on Hatty with Muskets/cats mixture.

City wize.
Generally I went on expancion spree, as I believe we are ready to it.
Deli build Market/harbor/Setler.
Food ritch cities whiped courthouses(if far away/Markets).
Karocorum got GL-courthouse-marketplace

I think I build Heroic Epic in Karocorum, need to check.
food poor cities were producing missionaries/boats.

Founded all together 4 cities.
I think we should look at filling the rest of our continent.

Otherwize, pictures talk by themself.

@radiopill, chriseay, bobrath - ready to post results tomorrow?

Once again the autologger didn't worked... but I've found why... I forgot to give the path for the save of the log...

So the research, after Monarchy, I go for currency (gimme mo' money [pimp] ), then calendar to give some work to all this worker.
Hatty ask for MetalCast' for CoL+90 gold, I agreed with pleasure as we need both.
A great Prophet is born in Dehli, he gives us Theology. So after calendar I go for paper, and try my (our) chance for the race for liberalism (but Taoism as already been found...), and after that Philo 5 (due in 5turn or less, if the next player increase the research rate...).
We also get Compass + 100 gold for theology from hatty... Bismark wasn't willing to make fair trade with us...

On the diplomatic side Hatty close her borders pretty soon, so I didn't manage to spread budhism in more of her cities... but at the end of my turn set she re-agreed for OB... :crazyeye: thx to the tech trading... and I trade her cow for dye.
Bibi asks for Monarchy but I refuse...

I founded 3 cities, 1 on the island on the N, 1 on the Peninsula, and 1 S of Karakorum. I have 1 more settler due in 3 turn.

Karak also build the GreatLibrary.

For the infrastructures: market in Dehli and Karak
courthouse in turfan, karak
lighthouse in calcutta
library in madras, bombay

I hooked the clam, crab and the fish of the North island, and we have 3 silks online, and soon 1 incense...

Short Synopsis:
Founded two cities - Hyper Fishing Village in north and a nice city location in the far south. Stretched our economy a bit, but we're cranking along now.
Technology progress via research, Great Prophet, and trading: Compass, Code of Laws, Calendar, Theology, and Currency. Machinery due in 2 (-13@80 w/229). I'd suggest going Optics next so we can find the other nations out there and get the circumnavigation bonus.
Barely any military buildup aside from a few archers.
Completed Great Library in Delhi and National Epic in Karakorum. Bout halfway to Sistine Chapel in Delhi.
I lost Open Borders very early on with Hatty, but have them back now. Our southern Galley is exploring as far southwest as I can go. Has a scout and warrior on board.

I tried to get as many courthouses out as possible, and did whip where needed to reduce unhealthy conditions. We are in Hereditary Rule, but I stayed back from Caste System and Theocracy. (BTW Hatty likes HR)

Right now our GNP is tops in the world (trading for Currency really helped) and we're cranking on many fronts.

Next team should look to doing massive more exploring, but also getting our military up to snuff. We have the luxury of a nice big moat around us, but our navy won't be stopping much of any invasion force... Our southern portion of the continent can probably stand one or two more cities. Economy should be strong enough to handle them now.
