Russian hacking

And then Americans have this idea from watching TV that it's just some high-level political intrigue that doesn't affect us. Hello: try, Russia has your street address, your birthdate, your social security number, your cell number. And they can use it to create credit accounts in your name and send the money to Russia. I really don't give a rat's behind what the media says when I'm seeing it unfold right in front of my own two eyes.

Dude, it was ONE GUY, who happened to be Russian that did this to you. It's not some vast conspiracy to rob you for the enrichment of Mother Russia.

Jeez, this is like the "OMGZ!!! Commodore is spying on us and manipulating us!" thing all over again. I mean this in the nicest way possible when I say you need to learn to calm down and stop blowing everything up so much. You might even need to seek professional help as from the little I've seen here of your paranoia, I can only imagine it's a lot worse in your daily life.

Neither it's clear whether it was one guy, nor he (or they) were Russian.

I'm operating on the assumption that it was simply to demonstrate how one Russian doing this does not constitute a massive conspiracy that is sponsored by the Russian government.
