Russians/Soviets & Catherine

But that's not my point!

What I'm trying to point out, is that physical looks should not detract or rule out the participation of an historical great leader in CIV3/4.

BTW Catherine was a hot fox in her younger days.

Physical appearance plays a part in all politics. Not the most important. But looks can always sway a couple of doubting voters.

It is your opinion, OK. But how does obesity rule out Catherine as great leader of the Russians?
If we all judged leaders like that (which BTW we do) we would all have Super models for president!

Somehow, I get the feeling that my position on Catherine's leaderhead has been misunderstood. I'm not saying that I elect my government officials based on sex, height to body fat ratio, or facial symmetry. -sigh- Actually, I'm saying that Firaxis deliberately made Catherine fat for Civ3. You don't believe me? Check out the first post I made on this thread, #6. It's implied; I put a leash on my tongue and didn't say there, "Firaxis was wrong", but I think after reading it again, you'll understand.

Would the Mona Lisa be considered art if the subject was ugly and had warts? Only if her representation on canvas was prettier than she was IRL. Art at its best shows humanity's best side.

EDIT: Never mind. I see WS78 understood.

And I don't want to be a fat lady when doing multiplayer Civ. :(
