saved game location?

Greetings! I have recently purchased Civ3 Gold Edition (with PTW included), and started up a few different games right off the bat. However, I've been overdoing it a bit with the save files, and want to start deleting a few of them, as they're starting to spam up my screen. However, I can't seem to locate the "saved game" folder when I open the file location. It also hasn't saved it to the saved game folder on 'my computer'. What path does the game save to as default? (Also, I should probably note that I am running on Windows Vista.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so I have been looking all over my computer, and I'm wondering if the path for CivIII:Gold Edition is different than the one listed...after searching for about a half hour and not finding the path they have listed in the FAQ, I'm still not seeing it. I don't even have an Infogrames folder. Mine starts with Sid Meier's Civilization 3 Gold. And when I go into the Play the World folder, there is STILL no saved game folder. WTH? Now I feel REALLY dumb...could somebody possibly fill me in as to what's going wrong?

If you hit "load game", I believe you can press "next folder up". That way, you can find where your saves folder is.

Hey AsheMorgan don't feel so dumb.I've had the game for 7 years and still can't find the saves.None of the folders in civ seem to hold them.Help me also ! ?

Ok, I attempted Bowlsling's idea by basically going backwards, writing down which files were in each one, (just for my own reference) and then going into C:\ after I had figured it out. Turns out that the folder it *should* be in does not list it among the other folders in that group. This time I know I'm in the right place, but it has gone all ninja on me and disappeared! So I guess I'm stuck with all my save files. Also @Vapor trail....you have 7 years worth of save games staring at you? Yikes, I though *I* had lots of spam hehehe

In Vista, try C:\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Civilization III\Civ3PTW\Saves
