Scatter resources(WB)

I'm pretty nub to world builder but when I click Scatter resources I see very very little strategic resources on the entire map(1 uranium, 1 coal and sometimes 2 iron). Whats the deal with that? Also if I save the map when I figure out how to put the correct amount of such resources will it save them in the game?

i noticed the scatter doesn't do such a good job with numbers also, might be broken. manually placing them and saving your map, will have them in your game, though you might have to load it as a scenario (it seems to require this for improvements)

Thanks for the info. I was trying to avoid having to do it myself cause I always give myself favoritism with resources

Yeah same it's ridiculous. It seems to only create like one instance of each strategic resource, almost no sheep and like, a ton of cows on grassland. What gives?
