SCENARIO: Age of Exploration (1492)

Hello, my modem died, and i just got my connection back.

About the Fog issue, i bet the best solution would be to release a European Nation playable scenario, that will be the official one, of course, units and techs will be there for other non european nations, so it won't be hard to release an alternative Asian Scenario with other playable civs and different FOV...
 
What units do you need for the Bata mod, if you post a list here I can :) try looking for them.
 
Hi Birdmanz. RedwallFortress said to me you have this project. I have posted a thread in the Complete Modpack section with a mod named Age of Colonization. In my thread I have posted a BIQ and a folder with the result of my effort. The mod is far to complete, but there are some thigs completed. If you are interested, I suggest we will work ensemble to realease a unique mod.

Well it's been a while since i last posted, months have passed and i can't say im glad now about leaving this project down.

I don't have lot of time, but at least i can spare some now.

If anybody is willing to help me finish this project, i will need help with units and techs, also buildings (Since most of the political and map data is finished, i only had to place resources in areas like Asia).

The idea of this mod is great, and i would love to see this finished, so if you think the same and want to contribute, let me now.

Imperator and Ex-Terminator, you made a great work, but from my point of view, this mod is totally different of what you have designed, while this mod focuses on claiming resources and transporting em back to Europe, your mod is more focused on a Race Colonization like idea, which is great, but totally differs with what i had in mind, i really don't think we can make this two mods compatible and work on the same project, since for me they only share the Timeline most of all. (If you need any help in designing the Scenario and Historical facts of the era i will gladly help you in that)

They already share the same map, in both of them Units cost Population' and Imperators mod also includes

partly becouse when I thought that :blush: your Mod was dead I actively worked on improving the other one.

I downloaded the Imperator work and i don't really find what make the two similar, political situation in both scenarios are different, my idea is more focused on giving depth in Europe, there are other ideas i didn't saw implemented on that other mod, so again for me they don't share that much in common.
Honestly i decided to continue with this work after checking the other one (did that like 15 days ago), they really went in a different direction, otherwise, i wouldn't be reviving this post.
 
I think that you should remove Hungary.
Most of the Country conquered by the Ottomans pretty soon after the start of the Scenario, and the rest came under the control of the Hapsburgs.

Honestly so far i plan to add only one more country, which might be Korea, and yes the Ottomans declared war to Hungary somewhere in 1521 and about 1526 the Austrians controlled Hungary. Tough i still have to decide what to do, if i delete it, it will have to go to the Austrians making em too powerfull at game start.
And about this kind of modifications, its more important now to make techs, units and buildings than decide this stuff, so for now i will leave this be, the political situation is pretty good as its, again i just have to decide what to do with the Korean cities.
