and his first correction :

So,
tried to build an imperial shield, then played lego with some parts of existing sets.
Here's then what's supposed to be an imperial captain. I get the feeling something's wrong, yet can't figure it at the moment. Shield ? Posture ? Resolution disparity ?

On second try, here's an imperial legionnaire.
TESUnitsSample.png

With a light imperial shield, I guess the version on the right have a better shield placement, more tidy than the left one ?

Here's the following :
Tamriel's Empire have lost much power in its recent wars and loss of lands.
TESUnitsSample.png

In its fight with Skyrim's rebels, it then needs to draft nords loyal to its cause :
1. The Imperial Recuit with their leather armor&helmet, light imperial shield and the ever going imperial sword.
2. The Imperial archer, despised by legionnaires as leathered cowards, they're as well trained as the front line and are equally trusted by imperial officers.

So, had to play pixel per pixel to alter these roman unit colors and change their helmet.
TESUnitsSample.png

I guess to finish with imperial troops, here are :
1. An Imperial Legate, housing less power than its roman counterpart, they still have power to direct the army in a Hold* under General Tullius' guidance.
2. Legate Rikke, formerly fought alongside Ulfrik Stromcloak in the Legion against the Aldmeri Dominion, believes Skyrim needs to fight alongside the Tamriel Empire against the Thalmor. She thus joined the Legion, her veterans status and knowledge over this land leading her to be second in command to General Tullius.
3. General Tullius, Governor of Skyrim, was sent in the North after the empire suffured heavy losses in an attempt to reverse the war. Despite Emperor Titus mede II refused to send reinforcement from the Aldmeri Dominions frontier, He managed to reppel the Rebel, even capturing Ulfrik Stromcloak thus earning a chance to end this war. Sadly, the Dragon Alduin awakening in Helgen broke that chance, reshuffling cards.

*used the wrong term of Jarlsdom for Hold until now.

Realised when compiling in scenario thread two units were missing in the Wild and the Imperial group.

Here they are then.
TESUnitsSample.png

1. The Horker Pack, Big, fat, slow, until you throw something at them.
2. Imperial Battlemage, scholars with low stamina and moderate destruction magic power.

Haaa a praise from a graphic grandmaster !!!

Was feeling wrong with the battlemage, went in my sprite database to get some fire and have some work and tries with it.
What's feeling best in your opinion guys between those please ?

I like #2.

Thanks Thorvald.
After Imperial units come the Thalmors' ones.

Lot of work on the base, inspired by bitterfrost units, other unit colors to match elven armors, half pixel work and a result ... i'm not totaly satisfied with it, about the chest I guess, pasted, seems like a fly in soup maybe ?
TESUnitsSample.png

1. Thalmor Archer, main troop of the Thalmor in Skyrim, their arrows halt in blood most fools who try to assault the Thalmors forts ... or flee them.
2. Thalmor Justiciar, enforcer of the Thalmor, roaming Skyrim facing hostility everywhere to force the ban of Talos workship. Their elven blades finishes off those who survives from thunder.

Enormous amount of pixel work here, mainly trying to recreate the Thalmor robe.
TESUnitsSample.png

1. Thalmor wizard, reknowed for their deadly magic. Their magic aptitude as born altmers is only second to their cruelty learned from Thalmors' brainwashing.
2. "First Emissary" Elenwen, was sent to Skyrim to ensure the White Gold Concordat is uphold, overseing Thalmors justiciars so they perform their duties.

As said on the scenario thread, eyes took a little rest, and reorgenized stuffs for what's coming next.
On the road, before working on nords,

here are few strangers looking the province agitation from not so afar.
TESUnitsSample.png

1. Redoran Guards, while governed by blackmarch lizardmen and having suffured from Red Mountain eruption, some says harsh environment make the finest warriors.
2. High Rock Knight, their wall of shield and steel hardly open, mainly for their swords, while they naturelly resist magic.
3. Hammerfell Alikr, acomplished swordmen, they single handly repelled the Aldmeri Dominion out of their lands. A feat this Tamriel Empire have yet to claim nowadays.

We drink to our youth, and to days come and gone.
For the age of oppression is now nearly done.
We'll drive out the Empire from this land that we own.
With our blood and our steel we'll take back our home.

Time for some Stormcloaks !
TESUnitsSample.png

1. Stormcloak Iceveins, counterpart of legionnaires, forming the core of the rebel army, his lower armor is countered by higher strengh !
2. Stormcloak Archer, Using the best of Skyrim hunters enrolling skills, their accuracy is then put to use for a greater cause than feeding stomach and selling pelts.
3. Stormcloak Berserk, symbolizing the Nord, they put all their heart in fighting, proving incredible strengh but somehow loosing their mind in the process.

TESUnitsSample.png

1. Talos Priest ; banned by the White Gold Concordat, Talos, as the only human born god, may not be neglected by Nords. Few priest didn't stop their guidance, manipulating iceballs to convince scepticals.
2. Stormcloak Commander, strategists of the rebellion. Each hold house its commander, drafting troops and organising operations.
3. Galmar StoneFist, Second in Command after Ulfrik Stormcloak, he fought the Aldmeri Dominin With Ulfrick and Rikke in the Legion years ago. First in fight, he's said to open city walls with its waraxe.

ending today's pixeling, the last, the missing, the blondy
TESUnitsSample.png

1. Ulfric Stormcloak the "Bear of Markath", Jarl of Windhelm and leader of the rebellion against the Empire both on religious, political and personnal reasons. His excellent swordmanship combined with the Way of the Voice makes him a champion of Skyrim, even killing High-King Torygg in a duel

I feel there's a lot room for improvement with the following set, yet guess I lack the aptitude to upgrade it.

"That is who we are. The Forsworn. Criminals in our own lands. And we will cut a bloody hole into the Reach until we are free."

Here come then the Forsworns !
TESUnitsForswornSample.png

1. Forsworn Looter, weakling finishing off lying down people while borrowing their riches.
2. Forsworn Harvester, hunting animal or human preys to feed the tribe.
3. Forsworn Ravager, seemingly sleepy, smells unknowed to the tribe awaken a beast few dare to engage in a fight.
4. Forsworn Briarheart, strongest ravagers are allowed to perform an ancient hagraven ritual, replacing their heart with a briar heart flower thus becoming a strange kind of undead.
5. Forsworn Tribe Chief, leading his own tribe in the reach since the Markath Incident, they prepare their forces to join the futur king of the Reach. Or to be joined.
6. Madanach, Former king of the Reach, escaped the death at Markath Incident thanks to Thonar Silverhands' shemes. He planes on escape from Markath prison to reassemble back tribes of the Reach under his rule, benefiting from the civil war.
7. Hagraven, they sacrified their humanity in exchange for fabulous magic power. Mostly lonely, they may accept workshiping from forsworn.

Few stuff to add:
TESUnitsSample.png

1. Carriage, used in Skyrim province to transport people, goods, and be looted.
2. Dragonborn ! Fus Ro Dah ! Unmatched in a fight, will he take a side in the war ?
3. Worker, Some stuff need some to dirty their hand. Really.
4. Mounted Mammoth, who got the idiot idea to steal mammoth from giants, tame them, then use them in war ? *

*out of lore, dead end tech and/or event only if used.

So do you plan to make this into a scenario, have you a map made of Skyrim province?

Personnal matters stole some of these days time, i finally came up with beginning holds set, beginning with whiterun, sharing a base with stormcloaks.

Still, i have difficulties deciding on one stance between these both one :
TESUnitsSample.png

The left one, rather offensive, seems to represent more the polyvalence* this unit have, both in offence and defense in service of its jarl.
The right one, on the other side, seems to represent more the "guard" his main fonction is.

*yeah, polyvalence somehow means bad everywhere

May you point your advice on this choice please, before i give weapons to other holds guards ?
