SciFi/Fantasy Unit Graphics

Also stumbled across a collection of 100 Babylon 5 units that were on @Eyn 's Civ2 site back in the day. I found this old thread at Poly, and Eyn's World website was one of the ones I recently found an archive of and put in the Civ2 lost sites list so I followed the direction in the archived copy and to my surprise the B5 units file was backed up too.
https://apolyton.net/forum/civiliza...3053-babylon-5-scenario?p=1150717#post1150717

It contains known units from Paul Heron's Babylon 5 modpack however it also contains a whole bunch of unknown units with no author specified. These extra units don't appear to be those cool ones @Broken_Erika posted here and here back in the 2000s either. So I may as well stick the file here too as I'm a big B5 fan and these were lost to time.

Anyone got fantasy units armed with modern weapons? Like a skeletal army using machine guns that can be used as marines? Or orcs/ogres with rocket launchers? Etc?

Think I saw some Warhammer40K units that might have had some stuff like that ages ago but I can't remember where. Should have taken a copy of them sorry!

Found these unit graphics by St Leo while looking at old versions of the SLeague. One is a full Heroes of Might & Magic 3 unit set which is awesome. The second is a massive Total Annihilation unit pack which looks way better than I'd expect them to considering the source was low poly 3D units from 99! The third is a full Age of Wonders 1 unit set (to go with the AoW cities I just posted over in the misc graphics thread).

EDIT: Also found some Fallout units @Broken_Erika made over at the old Poly units thread. Others made fallout unit files at poly too but the files are lost due to being hosted elsewhere with no backup. Sadly it looks like no one ever made a scenario so these units plus Skulb's impressive city screen are all that's left for Fallout fans.

Tanelorn did some WH40K stuff on 'Poly; I saved his Orks & Imperial Guard sets but he might have done more.

He said he's planning a redux but I should probably post these for posterity:

Yes!! That's it, that's the set I saw ages ago! Well done. :)

EDIT: Oh and I just posted about this over in my lost scenarios search thread but it turns out I somehow have the units file for the cool looking Final Fantasy 4 (2 in US) scenario by Frank Johnson I've been desperately trying so hard to find out there but failing lol. May as well stick it here. In fact I've got a huuuge collection of graphics files that Metro gave me ages ago. there'd be a lot of duplication but there'd be plenty of rare lost stuff in there not there. Too many to post individually so maybe I should just zip them up and post that.

EDIT: The lost Final Fantasy scenarios were found! More details in the search thread! :)

My pc is on its last legs, I won't be doing anything soon. Good that you kept those, I thought they were lost for ever...
Oof, I know that feel. Laptop went down end of April and I haven't yet recovered the drive due to disk errors when I tried to back it up.

If I can fix my mouse so it stops stuttering every second click, I should hammer something out.

Anything specific?

Apart from the space suits I don't think the weapons were much different. I'll try for the main characters at least, maybe the space stations if I can find good reference angles.

Anakin Skywalker's Togruta padawan, Ahsoka.
Modded (shading, size etc.) for ToT from an image I found online, not my original work. I will add full credits when I find who made the original.
Edit: I found the original! It is by Paranoid Cactus on twitter https://twitter.com/gamecactus

Multi-melta short range anti armor gun.
Plasma Guns are more powerful than plasma weapons used by xenos races but far more unstable.
tanelorn-ultramarine-flamer-png.604109

Flamers are ideal for flushing out enemies in cover and putting groups of heretic foes to the torch.
tanelorn-ultramarine-melta-gun-png.604122

The meltagun, or fusion gun is a powerful, short-ranged anti-armour weapon that produces an intense, energetic beam of heat in the tens of thousands of degrees Centigrade.
I gave him bits of mk6 Corvus, Rogue Trader era armor from the ancient past (1987).

The hell-hammer pattern lascannon is often used by the devastator squads of space marines against armor.

Fortunately these aren't animated so GeeDubs won't copyright claim your career. :goodjob: (hopefully )

Which one do you prefer?
I'm kinda torn: v2 is definitely richer, but v1 is easier to make out the details.
Might just be the weapons, though: the subsequent posts look like you found a happy medium.
