Both look good.. hard to choose haha. The darker ones look more badass however they'd look a bit strange on brighter terrains which most Civ2 & ToT terrains are. On some dark moody alien planet terrain set they'd do nicely though, although not too dark otherwise they'll disappear into it.

We are looking at these on a very bright forum though which can trick our eyes into thinking things are darker then they are so maybe they'll be fine on most terrains.

@Thorvald of Lym Noted. As for your other point, it is still fan art at this stage, I will just wing it.
@Blake00 More contrast gives the illusion of depth, the originals look flat to me. I will split the diff.

Scout marines are the newest recruits in a space marine chapter, whose bio implants havent matured yet. Their duties are to infiltrate the enemy positions or to fight as lightly armed skirmishers ahead of the rest of the Chapter. More to come.

Space marine terminators are veterans who have earned the right to wear tactical dreadnought armour, essentially serving as a walking tank.

A missile launcher can fire several types of self-propelled, guided missile, including both frag and krak missiles. A rocket launcher (last unit) fires unguided, projectiles with the same types of warhead.
This also shows the size difference between regular guardsmen and genetically modified astartes.

Hello everyone! Dare I say those are some fantastic 40k units! I should pop on a bit more often..

I also made a small contribution to the expanding list of units. Here is some Star Trek ships I've been working on.
