screen analysis question

I go to properties and then click on the menu which brings up the windows for altering the screen analysis (i use winxp), but it shows two different screens. And while screen #1 only goes up to 1366 times 768, screen2 goes way past that. Problem is no matter how i set screen 2, nothing changes, whereas if i change the setting for screen 1 the analysis is altered.

Can someone help? I have a new card (the old one got burned...) and a new screen too, so in theory it should have a better analysis (?)

You should probably ask for support from the card manufacturer first, being that it should be under warranty. There might be driver updates, special settings, etc... that we have no hope guessing at from the info you provided.

I'd probably install a modern OS.

FWIW, the English word is 'resolution', where you're using 'analysis'.
