Screenshots of DOS programs...

Can anyone tell me how I can take a screenshot of a DOS program? The key "Print Scrn" doesn't work. But some DOS programs don't even work anymore with WinXP and my modern computer, so it would even be better if I am able to take screenshots with my 486...

I've wanted to take screenshots of DOS programs several times, so I really appreciate any help!

(P.S. - I've never used it, so can't comment on whether it actually gives you what you are after though...)

2 possibilities:

1. Run in a DOS window, then use the Print Screen!

2. Download a DOS screen grabber utility, e.g. from here:

That reminds of something I saw a few years ago in a computer magazine. It was tongue-in-cheek advice for newbies, and the recommendation for capturing the screen was either just to take a photograph, or to run your handheld scanner over the screen.

Hmm, it was funnier in the magazine...
