Okay, with all the new screenshots we're seeing there's bound to be little things hidden within them that haven't been released yet to the public. So tell me, has anyone spotted any?

Messages now appear in the top center, no longer at the lop left and the banner graphic has changed.

Well, I brought up the flag change with era issue, and someone else already mentioned that the Longbowman look different for Greece (civ specific graphics)... Then there's the event log, which has been relocated to the top of the screen, and the little suitcase icon in the upper right for intelligence.

Looks like railroads can be replaced with highways, judging from the recent IGN pics. Wonder if this will affect movement or commerce?

No. Highways are just a flavor change for roads in the modern era.

roads and highways are the same.

I noticed there was a pic with ethiopian cities in it in the industrial age with a stange unit that might be the oromo musketman. I couldn't really make it out though.

As virulent said, it means sparta gains +4 hammers because of the corp, but pays a maintenance cost of 23 raw commerce points for it every turn.

I think that is the total maintenance cost for the city.

Slightly off topic but hopefully the espionage icon (little picture of a spy) gets added as a forum smiley after BtS is released.

NO, it's the raw commerce paid by the city for THIS corp... It would make no sense otherwise in the corp screen...

Check the screenshot with one the corp (not the one who gives culture), it shows the city roughly pays 3 commerce for 1 hammer (1 hammer before bonuses like forges or factories I guess). It sounds quite logical.

Yes, I'm curious what our sharp eyed users can spot.

One thing I'll bring up is in this pic. Notice the circular train? I'm guessing this is the graphics for Public Transportation.

If I had to guess, I'd say Moai Statues too.

The only thing I've noticed in the screenshots that I haven't seen already mentioned here or elsewhere is the totally inconsequential fact that The Hague is on the (presumably) Dutch city list (although Lincoln appears to have captured it in the game shown).
