My current game of Europa Universalis III is seeing what can only be described as a behemoth of a Lithuania. They stretch beyond the Urals, and even have land in northern Italy. They have become, in effect, Russia.

Very good, though still hasn't enthralled me as much as EU2. There's a demo out for it, which lets you play a couple of decades. Gives you a good feel for the game
I saw the Imperialist efforts of Kan, so I decided to try my own game as Britain.
80% of Northeast N.America is mine, along with colonies in Greenland and Bermuda.
Not too shabby for 1474. At that point I was simply making allies with Castille and vassalising Scotland/Ireland, preparing for the Union of Great Britain. Didn't get colonising until the 1500's. Will take screenies of the current British Empire later.
Those Native American tribes in North America btw, are fantastic for a quick conquest. Though they can send massive numbers, as I learned rather quickly
I found out what happened, for some reason Folding@Home decided that surfing the internet meant that it can use all of my CPU's processing power. So I turned it off for the forseeable future.
