Second Reneissanse

i have new error :

i edit my scenario (in map editor) something and i save >>>>> no loading the scenario, the next start

It is a lot more involved than that, like The_J said it is one of the most annoying files to edit. I'd suggest getting a good text editing program because you're gonna need it.

And you're definitely going to screw up a couple of times, so be mentally prepared for that.

 this description is not very helpful.

You say, you've edited a map for your mod with a text editor, and now it does not load, right?
Do you get an error message, or does it just crash?

yes i make scenario(edit in text editor) and when i start the game(with my mod) the game is crashing(simpe crash message: the sid meier civilization 4 : beyond the sword error ...... blablabal)

but download the mod and try the second rennesainse scenario :P

Do you first start your mod, then start the map, and then it does crash, or do you directly load the map (through a double click), and it does crash?

doesn't matter, yes crash. :( i really don't know why, if you understand it you will see why crash :D:D:D

The maximum number of civs, which you can have in a map, is determined by the file CvGameCoreDll.dll. By default it's 18, and without any change in this file, the game will crash if you set more civs on the map.
There should be a CvGameCoreDll.dll in the database available, which allows up to 50 civs (you're not forced to use all the slots ;)).
