Secret Hitler

For reference, there was two liberal and a fascist. I discarded one of the liberals, in case Crezth wanted to out herself as a fascist on turn 1. Standard turn 1 Secret Hitler meta. It's unfortunate i got two libs because it'll make it less likely we draw one later on.

I vote Ja on this next government since there's no reason not to approve a government at this point of the game; We need the information.

I vote...

Ja

...because its easier to spell than nine.

Why isn't more votings useful for vote analysis down the road? If all early govs autopass there's nothing to be learned from individual votes.

Nein

Because seeing what each government passes is usually more useful than votes themselves. Liberals and fascists both pass liberal policies, but only fascists tend to pass fascist policies. It's simply the most convenient way to get a bearing on someone.

Well, if we want to get bearings on people, why not pick someone who's not immediately due up to be the next president? We'll learn two things about SouthernKing in the next two rounds if we approve every government, sure, but not much about anyone else.

whether the election succeeds or not, SK will be skipped if we followed the rules of the tabletop game. No one in the last proposed government can be part of the next government.

Nevermind what I said was fake news ignore that
Don't worry about it. Whenever I need to get some fake news I just watch CNN.

For reference you can only vote on the ticket as a whole. You don't vote for each position separately.
Smells like PIS.

Är du Quisling? Voten ja!

Whatever

Ja

Moderator Action: At the risk of being boring, I will remind folks that they should provide translations for non-English text.

Reus and SouthernKing win the election, in spite of not even voting for themselves. 60% turnout is beneath this glorious nation.

You each have a day to get me your policy choice but like I really doubt it'll take that long

Ja: Omega124, Takhisis, lulz2, choxorn,
Nein: Yakostovian, Snerk
Whatever I guess: Reus, SouthernKing, KaiserElectric, Crezth

Just according to keikaku

(Keikaku means plan)

Ich stimme "Nein"!

(I vote No.)

Smells like PIS.

The (more) correct* German for this phrase would be:
"Bist du Quisling? Ja abstimmen!"
(Are you Quisling? Vote yes!)

Google translate tells me you were using Swedish...

*High-school level of German, so some of my phrasing may be incorrect. Though I am currently taking a refresher on a language app.

I also forgot about the formal version
"Bist du..." is the familiar version of "are you" while in a more formal setting (such as what German parliament would likely be) "Sind Sie..." would probably be the correct usage.
(Feel free to tell me to stop teaching you guys German.)

If this isn't a formal setting then I don't know what is.
