Thanks to some trickery which the gods believed to have been Set, time has been set back and Egypt must now relive a few years. Thebes can now continue working on an aqueduct, but the oasis no longer provides the Water of Life. I don't see how this is promotion for Set, but hey, I'm not a god.

Also, for some reason the Hanging Gardens has collapsed into over 100 pieces of gold for Egypt to use, so there's that.

A new civilization was born to the east and south of Babylon called Arabia. Saladin, leader of these peoples, decided just like Ethiopia that they were always buddies with Egypt. Also, for some reason he did not wish to open borders with Egypt. Why does no one like us anymore? What did we ever do?

Plus, Thebes started to build a library to increase scientific output, and the scouts had discovered the secrets of compasses thanks to some local tribe-folk. Also, the workers east of Thebes decided they wanted to build a road and plantation to harvest the incense to the east for some more gold for the Egyptian empire.

Ramesses was proud of what he did that day, as it was very productive.

SC Decision!

Now that we are becoming very advanced and large, we need something to focus on

1) Lower science output to 70%, build up a treasury and start trading gold for techs from other civilizations which we have not researched yet. Cancel settler in Giza and build either gold or a library
2) Build more troops for our military to start a war with Babylon, and at least take Jerusalem, Christianity's holy city. Cancel settler in Giza and build more military troops
3) Focus on building libraries and other buildings to help improve Egypt's quality of life, and use the settler in Giza to expand south of the Sahara in a productive spot to harvest more resources and build more buildings
 
I vote 2. The heathenous Babylonians have been independent far too long.

Oh I thought I explained it.

We converted to Christianity because Babylon and every other nation in the world that had a state religion converted to it, and as our military is still weakened after fighting Ethiopia, I want everyone as happy with us for now until we can get a stronger military.

Heck, I was mostly worried about Babylon because if we haven't have converted to Christianity, Babylon would be furious with us, and you know what that usually means.

It is too late to vote on it as you have done it! I order that one population level be ridden from Thebes. This is on you. Do not do it again or I will not be so benevolent. :mwaha:
 
Don't worry, I asked a friend of mine named Chronos to slow time so 3.65 seconds is 3.65 hours

I vote option 2. We convert to Communism.
 
Don't even bring that up here :lol: And don't worry, if he doesn't listen I'll throw my obelisk sized gavel at him :D
