Secrets of the posting-editor?

Well, it's not how most other forum software works...

It is almost certain that only the latest post is stored, holding a histroy of all the versions of each post is not trivial and I am sure that vBull doesn't do it.

A screen shot does just as well of a job of keeping a record of before edit posts as anything else.

Actually, it wouldn't take up that much server space. You compress the text, and have an option to look at revisions. Wouldn't take that much, really.

Maybe we should just ask TF and see what he says. For all I know the poster who said that was full of it.

A question about re-editing a post containing an attached graphic.

It did not seem possible for me to replace an attached pic. I was trying to replace it with a smaller sized version. On deleting it, there was no apparent option for reattaching.

Yeah. once you post the option to add or replace the file goes bye bye.
