The roots of the Serbian state date back to the 7th century and the House of Vlastimirović. Before that Serbs, Croats, and all other Slavic people where up there i Lithuania - Southern Finland - NW Russia, so in that period Ilyrians, Dacians, Thracians, etc where in the Balkans

Hey could anyone make a modern Serbian Special forces unit? I need a Special forces unit for Serbia in my mod.

Um... my guess is that Serbian Special forces look exactly like everyone elses` special forces, so this could be a nice general request! Similar units are wanted by alot of people around here.

The ship can be used for Byzantines too, yes It is the cross of st. george, with the four B's, meaning "Basileus Basileon Basileuon Basileuonton" (King of Kings, King to Kings). The serbs used the exact same symbol, only with c's instead of b's (obviously it meant something else; iirc something about the safety of Serbia)

Acutally, to them, the letter "C" is "S" So, its four S.

Stormrage-Yeah i know, but i am trying to get units that look kinda diffreant from others, If i have to i probley could just use one of my other special forces units like the British SAS but give them a diffreant color. What is the name of the Serbian Special forces?

A fine idea, I could say. A Serb scenario. It'll be interesting to see how this will turn out eventually.
Anyway, I got the high knowledge of the serb history/military/culture, so if I could help in anyway, (and if you'd accept a newbie's help offcourse) count me in. (with advice, items list, background, audio, 3d model, whatever)

bloodofages I don't know in what time frame are you talking about because Serbian Special Forces constantly changed names.

The Serbian military has decided to unite all of its special units into one brigade. Instead of the Cobras and other special units, starting September, there will only be one which will be called the Special Brigade. The Special Brigade will have a thousand members and will be stationed in Nis and Pancevo. The Serbian Military stated that the one brigade will be able to take care of all of the military’s needs and is financially possible as well.

And this just happened recently. So I will know more of them in the future!

P.S. OT but very important for your daily diet: Some wacko has just shot 345236456 firework rockets... its been going on for like 3 minutes! WTH? Oh, its Saturday (was until recently). Must be a wedding. Say, you guys should really come over and see a Serbian wedding. More guns than shown in those pics! Also, my mom, born and raised in Serbia, says that weddings go on for like, a week, over there. Sorry for the rant, I had a 15 hour work day, and I`m in over-drive.

Yup! what can I say, we like to party well you must have seen the Grand Show , today I walk by my town's center, and there was an Hungarian and Serbian wedding in the same time, I laughed my pants of in one side you could hear Tina Turner, and in other trubaci (Serbian Traditional Music)
