server down for hours ?

is it me or the server was down for hours today?!

I was unable to connect to the server from the time I got to work until almost noon (an hour ago) my time.

the whole server thing is a disgradeful mess at the moment. For the last 2 days I've kept on getting "http not found" message in trying to get on to the forums, or "redirecting to underground online". I don't want underground online, FFS, just the normal forums! It seems to be that far from improving the forums, the recent "upgrade" (in reality, downgrade) has been screwed up and now trying to get on is a frustrating and annoying experience. I hope normal service resumes shortly, but from all the errors that have littered the forums lately, I have very little faith that the problems will be sorted speedily.

Underground online is is the advertising server. That message likely comes with regard the banner ad loading or failing to load.

Lefty, it appears when you click on "forums" from the main page sometimes. I have shortcuts to my fave forums, but in the last couple of days, they have frequently brought up "this site cannot be found messages"...however, getting onto the main page is not a problem at all. When you try to go from the main page to the forums though, this underground online redirection is a constant pain...in a way, it's like trying to get people visiting civ fantatics to go to another site!
