Several unit bugs (v.123)

I decided to summarize several small bugs and issues, related to unit behavior, in this one thread instead of posting several separate threads.

1. Unit experience value in the mouse-over popup is wrong for units garrisoned in a city when Oligarchy is adopted. The unit experience value in the popup is not updated until the unit moved once or the game reloaded.

2. My non-experienced Trireme killed an enemy Chariot Archer with one shot! Isn't it overpowered? I know that in VEM some units (such as Chariot Archer) have penalty against Naval units. Does it works both for attack and defense? I suppose only the attack penalty should be.

3. Chariot Archer don't animate when bombarding or being bombarded (all other units are ok).

4. In the Military Overview window very high values (500) of the strength is shown for the embarked units. What does it mean? Is it bug?

I believe number 3 is because he had to change the combat class of chariot archers in order to fix a promotion-related bug.

He also changed embarked units so that ships can't just run over them, and I presume that high strength is related to that change.
 
1) Thanks for bringing this up. :thumbsup: I don't think the delay is fixable though; some aspects of the user interface such as that are done in the game core.
2) Land archers and mounted archers have an attack penalty against ships, but not a defense penalty. Chariot archers are rather flimsy units and die easily.
3) The animation is something we cannot fix with our current modding tools.
4) I've never figured out what the strength values mean for units with the "defensive embarkation" ability. It's not something we set... we just give it the promotion, and the rest is handled in the game core.
