SG Lurkers, ready?

Late to the party, but just wanted to say: great set of turns, Blackluck. Well done for grabbing Tokyo. :goodjob:

Quite surprised that Toku has TWICE left major cities exposed like that.

Blackluck said:
Toku looks like he's turtling on us.

I wonder what this game would be like if we were playing by the rules of the Turtle SG. :)

As for screenshots, my own experience is that they are less likely to come out if you are running the game at a different resolution to the desktop. There are also certain screens/situations that never capture properly (there's a thread somewhere on RealmsBeyond discussing them). Of course, even if a screenshot doesn't save, it will generally go to the windows clipboard so you can just paste it into the picture editor of your choice. Irfanview is another very good (free) program for captures/editing/text - just about the only thing it can't do is dot maps!

on us!

Luv is gonna be so pleased with you now. :)
Your turn reports really crack me up, liq.

I'm just here to set up the bomb ya know?

I get the civ's wheels all greesed up and hand off the ticking package to the next guy!

Generally I get the game back where all I do is wash the blood from the driveways and trim the lawns so people are impressed with the new annex.

This is a great time to explain why I LOVE cathy and peter as civ leaders... their unique unit, the cossak, has incredible staying power as they do not go obsolete until tanks and industrialism + combustion is soooooooo far away from military tradition tech wise...

Also post industrialism cav still have a use!

cav from a red cross city are innate 2 tile speed medics that are CHEAP. Plus they eventually can be upgraded to 8 speed gunships.... it's nice to have 1 or 3 medic copters around to back up a bunch of medic cav.

cav medics can use rails for 20 tiles in a turn, gun ships are 8 tiles over any non water terrain. Since most of the units cav heal use rails as well... it's a perfect fit until mech infantry. Gunship medics are great once they finally get to the battle field as they can hop around hostile territory with ease.

keep in mind you can stall gunships until you press for the space race....

Cheers!

Monty declares war!!!!......
on us!
-Liq

Oh man!
Didn't I have to defend my entire last turn against an invasion?
Just checking.

I have to defend against Monty now? The fellow with the largest Army in the world?
I hope you're kidding, liq.
Anyone know if we happen to have tanks right now?
Tanks. I need tanks. Lots of tanks.

Why couldn't I just beat up a defeated enemy like Toku? Monty has taken a run at every other civ this game, and no one has been able to put him in his place.
Maybe we should get BlackLuck to go take one of his size 17 cities from underneath his pillow, like he did to Toku.
10 turns of ducking, bobbing and weaving, and girlish screams for muffy.
*sigh*
So be it. Who want's to live forever?

*We'll see if someone, anyone will join us in this war against Monty.
Maybe Toku will help?
- got save, grabbing coffee... preparing myself for this mayhem...

I have FRAPS. Infranview is good too. Should re-install it.
(I did a clean re-install of my entire HD when Civ 4 was released)

As for untakable screenshots, I can get them now.
If you can't capture the screenshot, go to your desktop and right back into the game. Take your screenshot as soon as you maximize your game (without moving stuff, or clicking on anything). Sometimes I try to take a pic of a leader, or an advisor screen, and when I check my screenshots (every time I take snapshots), it ain't there. But I now know, that as soon as I go back into the game, if I take a screenie I will get it. Practice, you'll see.
I just re-installed FRAPS last night, so I might try using that this turn. I'll see if there is a difference.

monty has been beating his head against the persians for a long time... now he's coming into our territory with effing 5 cav and 2 catapults... is that the best he can do???

We are a sleeping giant, we have insane production going if we care to pump it into military such that any one civ attacking us is in for some trouble...

course if sally and toku declared war on us as well....

I was gonna go to sleep but if you're about to hit your turn I'll go grab another bottle of nyquil.

Cheers!

Dawn of a (scary) new era for the Lurkers.
No more picking on the little guy, the people of the Lurker Empire annoint a new emperor to take on the bully of the continent.

turn710qy.jpg

Let Emperor Muffster's rule be brutal and victorious!
*assorted cheers and maybe a little too much drinking follows*
Historians hotly dispute that the new emperors first words were "What the...?"

View of the cultural map (new and improved empire)
turn729kd.jpg

International Map
turn734zy.jpg

Hmmm, those size 20 & 18 cities look like a job for General BlackLuck.
I will do some scouting before I do anything else, try to assess Monty's centre of mass.

Oh yes, FRAPS works like a charm. Why wasn't I using this before?
Serving wench, lighty slap me. Now come here... *chortle chortle* :groucho:

well if monty is a one trick pony (p.intended), spam riflemen as their 25% against mounted just owns monotone cav armies.

Telling you he who has the largest military all game is he who has crap tech.

build up cav in the back rifles in the front and grens the moment you see any other grens.

Cheers!
-Liq

Bad news is, Monty has no (obvious) centre of mass.

turn743eu.jpg

*note:
Teotihuacan supplies Monty with horses (copper as a secondary supply)
Tenochtitlan provides his capital with iron directly.
Texcoco provides a SECONDARY source of iron to Monty.

Monty also has christianity in his empire, in addition to budhism. Hmmm.
Short term goal, survive (he must have more troops on the way)
Mid-term goal, capture Teotihuacan or at least pillage his horses. May want to wage a guerrilla war in his empire for a while.
Long-term goal, utter destruction of our newest non-beliver.

Release the hounds! This one's for you, Monty!

EDIT: When we get steam power in 5, will I be able to build steam powered tanks?
:spear:

When we get steam power in 5, will I be able to build steam powered tanks?

yah you do get steam powered tanks... problem is they live in the water and never dare step on land.

do build a few ironclads tho to guard the coasts

Cheers!
-Liq

Is there any reason why we need to fight this war on our own? Monty is at a disadvantage because he is landlocked, so we should capitalize on this.

How long until Monty's peace treaty with Cyrus is due to expire? We supposedly have an ally to our NE. Maybe it's time for Nappy to prove what a good friend he is. In fact, the best possible outcome would be for Monty and Nappy to go to war: they would hopefully end up crippling each other. With a bit of luck we might even leave them to it and concentrate on our infrastructure. Anyone else we could drag in? Or am I being too dastardly?

Pre-turn:
I convert Nappy to Hinduism. His people must be getting confused about
exactly which god they are supposed to pray to! lol
*Nappy converts to Hinduism*
I hope to get him peeved at Monty for warring against a brother of the
faith. Cheap trick, I know but I'm calling in all favors this turn.
Oh yes! While Nappy is still pleased with Monty, he just took a -1 hit
for declaring war on us! In your face, Montozuma!

HC doesn't dare enact a trading embargo against Monty. I guess he's been
down that road before.

Anjar at 51% Persian, borders seem to be getting wider. Rats.
Besancon is still at 70% French. Izumo, a french town (sounds french?)
has a lot of Toku's culture. Was that a city flip? Izumo has
christianity as it's religion. What's with that? Who has that religion?
I see, Incans started the christian religion. Hmmm. Whatever.

Statue of Liberty due in 24 turns, with or without the engineer.
I think he served his purpose, he gets sent to the fields.
Growth in Djenne in 1, another citizen to work another field/hammer tile.
We'll see if we can drop this production lower, I want Djenne back ASAP.
Next player will desperately want some hard core stormtroopers for this
war, but it might not be ready for a while.

I really don't want to press "end-turn". Grab another coffee, think about
what else I can do to alter the playing field a little here.

Look at the frontline troops:
Walata: promote rifleman to city defense. Upgrade Skirmisher to Grenadier.
Djenne: Promote axeman to city defense, upgrade him to Grenadier.
Move rifleman from Timbuktu towards Djenne, moving rifleman and cavalry
from Gao towards Walata.
Seriously lacking any reserves, and we have precious few units coming
soon, so this is going to be close. See if I can beat them off with a stick
until I can get some cities cranking me out a nice-n personal death squad
for our own use.

(I read Liq's request for Ironclads. Is it just me, or is he taking this all
rather well? What is in that cough syrup anyway, liq?) Ha ha.

I can't hold off anymore. Here we go.

1. 1716 AD
Timbuktu builds Hindu Temple, starts cavalry
Gao builds Hindu Temple, starts cavalry
Walata builds Observatory (52 beakers here? sweet), starts rifleman
Marooned builds Granery, starts Hindu Monestary
Christian Missionary built in Shaggy, Market was in que so that's
what Shaggy will be getting.
Christian Missionary? Eeew. Heads to PigPen.
*Christianity fails to spread in PigPen*

Monty's first wave is 5 Cavalry, 1 Catapult
Monty sends in second wave, 3 Cavalry, 1 Catapult.

More will be coming. The pillaging is already happening at Walata.
Grrr. (However, Walata still celebrates We love the empire day.)

Investigating whether Nappy would help us in this war, he claims that he
wouldn't want to betray his close friends. What a loser for an ally.

In an attempt to even the odds a little near Walata, I sally forth to meet
Monty's cavalry in battle.

My Cavalry vs. his. (I think we will win, feeling lucky)
18(Combat II) vs 16.5(combat I & pinch) odds.
turn754qh.jpg

Victory!!! (Need more of these plz). Our cavalry down to 3.6 health.
He is healing in Walata as our second cavalry (Combat I & pinch) attacks
his catapult.

turn761tf.jpg

Our cavalry just rode over Monty's catapult, not a scratch. (Victory)
Now we are ONLY facing twin stacks of 3 Cavalry/1 Catapult from Monty.
It's a start.

Everyone but us now has Scientific Method.

2. 1718 AD.
turn783ul.jpg

Monty sends another stack of 6 Cavalry/1 Catapult.
Another Cavalry coming in north of Kumbi as well.
Add that to the 6 cavalry and 2 Catapults already in our borders and you
can see why I was not excited about handling this situation. Ugh.
So much killing to do.
I have to drop research to 0% this turn to buy upgrades. Someone remind
me to put research back to 70% next turn.
Moving Maceman (city attack III) from Shaggy towards Walata. Will be
nice to have it nearby if we can stop Monty in his tracks.

In another daring move, I attack Monty's stack of 3cav/1cat with my rifleman.
turn770nu.jpg

Our Rifleman is defeated! *aargh!*

3. 1720 AD
*We cannot continue building Statue of Liberty in Djenne*
Djenne starts on Cavalry.
Kumbi builds Cavalry, starts on cannon.
Angle builds Cavalry, starts on Hindu Missionary
Naggy builds market, starts on Hindu Missionary

Khushkins renamed back to Kushans. (If you rename something, make it easier
to spell! lol)
BTW, Kushans built a jewish monestary. I am so canceling all this budhist building
that has been pre-ordered. We just shouldn't ever build stuff that sends our money
into the pockets of our enemy who is currently pillaging us.
Kushans starts on a barracks instead, when missionary visits, it will get a HINDU
monestary(or temple).

I also turn our research back up to 70%, here come the upgrades.
Walata: longbowman->rifleman, Skirmisher->rifleman.
Djenne: longbowman->rifleman,
Khumbi: Horse Archer->Cavalry(Flanking II? never seen that before.)
longbowman-rifleman (khumbi as well)

I also notice a hindu missionary in Tokyo. Send that missionary to Kushans.
*Hinduism spread to Kushans*
Kushans now builds Hindu Monestary (instead of barracks or, ick ick ick, budhist monestary)
We have a budist missionary in PigPen now? Really?
We have to stop promoting our enemies interests in front of our own.
I see no reason to spread Budhism, Monty has enough converts.
Budhist missionary destroyed.
Spend 57 gold to finish Tokyo's temple.

I adopt Vassalage/Theocracy as our civics
It looks like Walata is going to be hit hard next turn.

Monty's army outside Walata:
10 cavalry, 2 catapult.
Monty's army outside Djenne:
3 cavalry, 1 catapult

turn791xs.jpg

If we survive this attack on Walata, I will be amazed.
(I hope that castle in Walata has laser beams on it)

4. 1722 AD
No attack? He had us! Now wait until he gets a load of me!
Timbuktu completes Cavalry, starts on Cavalry
Djenne builds cavalry, starts rifleman
Tokyo builds Hindu Temple, starts on Hindu Monestary

In an attempt to reduce the force facing Walata, Djenne's new cavalry
makes an attack.

turn7103aq.jpg

Our cavalry wins! reduced to 9.3 health, retires to Walata to heal.

Monty has a rifleman and cavalry near marsellies, north of Walata.
turn7110ox.jpg

I wonder where he is sending these units?

Monty's force ourside Walata: 9 cavalry, 2 catapults
He also has a cavalry near Kumbi

IBT: Monty Attacks!!!
(The Battle of Walata, part I of...)
So many attacks, can't find them all in the log. List is just too long.
Lots of death, just imagine piles of corpses all over Walata.

Monty's army still outside Walata:
5 cavalry, 2 catapults.
Defenses of Walata reduced to 33% or something silly like that.

We gave as good as we got though, one of our rifleman went bezerk on Monty's
cavalry
, wiped out one, was severely wounded but took out a second cavalry
without missing a beat. Saved the day! What a hero!!! (I named him Hank, good heroic name).

5. 1724 AD
Timbuktu builds cavalry, starts cavalry

Attempting to break this seige at Walata, I use our "crafty" flanking II
cavalry to hit Monty's cavalry
(on a hill) before they can recover from
the fight we just had. (This is getting quite nasty)
turn7138pj.jpg

Our cavalry doesn't win, but he ain't dead either. FlankingII cavalry
retreats back to Walata with 2.4 health.
Wally, our combat II cavalry (Wally, because he's from Walata, get it?), Formation (good against mounted units) attacks
the rest of the hill stack
, going for the kill now.
Wally wins! Yay! (You have no idea how happy I am)
I attack Monty's stack again with another cavalry, another win.
I make another bold move, and use a pikeman against Monty's cavalry across
the river. (I tend to take risks, huh?)
turn7156hu.jpg

Another win
(not even a scratch on him, so there)!

I sacrifice a grenadier at Kumbi to wound Monty's cavalry.(grenadier dies)
turn7142tm.jpg

I use our rifleman at Kumbi for the kill. Rifleman wins, one less
problem to deal with. I send a longbowman from Gao to reinforce Kumbi.

Monty has sent three more cavalry to the fight. Just entering our border is
a stack of two combatII cavalry, and another cavalry with a medic promotion.
I think he is trying to prevent further slaughter from my counter-attacks.
(I did quite well that round, didn't I? I mean we did well, didn't we? Heh heh)

Monty's Army outside Walata:
4 cavalry (1 is new reinforcement) & 2 catapults
Monty's army outside Djenne:
3 cavalry, 1 catapult, 1 rifleman (a ways off)

Tokyo is really feeling cultural pressure. It is starving (not entirely a
bad thing), but I fear we may loose our new city. Hope not.
PigPen still working on that mandir thing. As soon as I get more cash, I
will even buy it! Want that city producing war material!
(Where did all pigpens cottages go? If we are going to use that city to
make money with a great merchant, then keeping our cottages might have been a
good idea.)

I notice now that we are #1 in population! Yay!
Steam due next turn. Steam powered tanks and stuff.. woot!

6. 1726 AD
turn7167qa.jpg

Steam Power is discovered. I start us on scientific method. (had to be done to get Physics)
Rifleman built in Djenne, start on cannon
Gao builds cavalry, starts on rifleman (replace longbowman I sent to Kumbi)
Shaggy builds market, start on Hindu Temple
Walata builds rifleman, starts building Grenadier
Naggy build Hindu Missionary, starts aquaduct.

Missionary sent to anjar, hope they will desire to join the motherland.

*****************************
(*War paused on account of Mrs. Muffin making me scan stuff for her.
I wonder if other emperors had to do that? Now printing...*)

And now back to a nice little war we've been having...
*****************************

We discover coal near Shaggy and Marooned! Oh nice!
Monty sent 1 cavalry NW of Kumbi, and more troops to attack Walata.

Monty's army at Walata:
6cavalry, 1 grenadier, 1 rifleman, 1 cannon

All of Walata's troops are currently healing.
I decide to risk another flanking attack on Monty's medic cavalry
threatening walata with a combat II cavalry from Djenne.

turn7179qn.jpg

Our cavalry wins! (but is reduced to 12.1 health)
I can't move him into walata, so he will heal (this turn only) on the hill.

IBT: Monty Attacks!!!
Walata:

Cavalry destroys Monty's cavalry
Rifleman destroys Monty's catapult (5 units damaged)
Rifleman destroys Monty's catapult (5 units damaged)
Rifleman destroys Monty's cavalry

Djenne:
Cavalry defeated by Monty's rifleman
(Rats)
Defenses at Djenne reduced to 24%

7. 1728 AD
Monty is bringing another cannon and cavalry NW of Walata as reinforcements.

Pikeman attacks Monty's combatIII cavalry east of Walata. (Victory)
Cavalry in Kumbi attacks Monty's combatIII cavalry west of Walata.
turn7185bg.jpg

(Victory).

Our wounded cavalry retreats to hill forest tile, hope to
discourage monty from attacking it.
Combat/pinch rifleman from Djenne attacks Monty's rifleman north of Djenne.
(Victory!
Unharmed too)
Combat III cavalry from Walata attacks Monty's wounded Combat II cavalry
north of the city. (victory)

Despite Liq's wishes, I move two cavalry from Angle to Djenne.
Once Monty attacks, I want to counterattack and destroy whatever is
wounded. Sorry dude, but I want this battle ended in our favor, and soon.

Monty now has a cavalry unit north of Pigpen, will he come through that pass?
turn7195fg.jpg

Too bad we never got around to getting units in them trees. Oh well, a war came
up and we got Tokyo instead. Heh heh.

IBT: Monty attacks our cavalry in the trees with his own cavalry.
Our cavalry dies.
*sniffle* :(

8. 1730 AD
Kumbi builds cannon, starts on aquaduct. City needs it.
Angle builds rifleman, starts jewish temple.
Djenne builds cannon (barrageII), building grenadier.

Cannon at Djenne attacks Monty's stack. (expect to lose against cav)
Cannon damages all of Monty's units and promptly dies.
Rifleman NW of Djenne attacks Monty's Cav at Djenne. (Victory)
turn7211zk.jpg

Unpromoted Cavalry at Djenne attacks Monty's CombatII cavalry (Victory)
CombatI cavalry at Djenne attacks Monty's combatII cav (Victory)
CombatII grenadier attacks Monty's catapult at Djenne (Victory)

The seige at Djenne is lifted !!!

However, Walata's defenses down to 6%
Good thing Hank the Hero is healed to 100%.

Turns out we cannot spread non-state religion in Anjar! *curses*
Switch to plan B then, with this missionary, sending him north.
Slide a pikeman out of Shaggy, reinforcing PigPen.
Monty has that cavalry
unit coming down the pass north of PigPen.

turn7226qb.jpg

Monty's army outside of Walata:
3 Cavalry, 1 Grenadier, 1 Riflemen, 2 Cannon

IBT: Monty Attacks Walata!!!
turn7239cx.jpg

(can't get the log, but Hank the Hero was very heroic. Trust me.)
More corpses add to the fetility of Walata. Too much death, citizens traumatized... nope. Actually they are quite happy with all the excitement.

9. 1732 AD
turn7206ab.jpg

Thucydides says that the Lurker Empire is the 2nd largest in the world!
(And growing... snicker)
Timbuktu trains cavalry, builds rifleman
Shaggy builds Hindu Temple, starts building bank.
Marooned builds Hindu Monestary, starts building Theatre
Kushans builds hindu monestary, starts building Hindu Temple

Monty's army remaining ourside Walata:
2 cavalry, 1 cannon.
1 cavalry sent by monty as reinforcements.
That's it! Sweet!
I kill them faster than Monty can build them.

I attack Monty, in an attempt to break the seige at Walata:
City defenseI rifleman vs. combatI/pinch cavalry N of Walata. (Victory, unhurt)
Wally the Walata cavalryman attacks the fresh cavalry of Monty's north
of Walata.
turn7244wb.jpg

Wally dies! (*no no no! That was not supposed to happen!*) Rest In peace, homie.
Rifleman from Walata (city defense II) attacks the wounded cavalry. (Victory)

Rifleman at PigPen attempts to destroy Monty's cavalry.
turn7250ej.jpg

(Have a pikeman as
backup). Rifleman dies, but Pikeman defeats Monty's cavalry.
*Lots of bad luck this turn. Ouch.

Total Aztec forces in our borders now: 3! (two cav, 1 cannon)
turn7262zj.jpg

I hurry that Madir at PigPen (Finally).
Workers rebuilding tiles around Djenne.
We are now 3rd in soldiers. Who is outbuilding us? Better not be Toku.
Okay, I look at Toku's cities, he now has cavalry. Rats!
I knew we should have taken Osaka. Oh well, next time. Heh heh.

IBT: Monty Attacks Walata!!!
Rifleman destroys Monty's cannon (7 units injured)
Hank destroys Monty's cavalry

10. 1734 AD
Djenne builds Grenadier, starts on cannon
PigPen builds Mandir, starts on Rifleman

Combat II cavalry attacks Monty's combat III cav NE of Kumbi. (Defeat)
Rifleman at Kumbi attacks Monty's wounded cavalry. (victory)
Rifleman fortifies stone, worker starts rebuilding quarry.

Seige at Walata has ended!!!

Monty has another cavalry unit north of PigPen
turn7279so.jpg

sending cavalry to intercept.
Do a survey of our cities, and do small tweaking.
Switch specialist in Tokyo to artist.

IBT: Monty captured a Automated Worked near Shaggy with a cavalry unit.

(I lost track of turns, took one extra! Ooops! Sorry Scowler.)

11. 1736 AD
*Nappy converts back to Budhism* (Make up your mind, fool! You with us or against us?)
Gao builds rifleman, starts on ironclad.
Angle builds temple, starts on rifleman.

Upgrade a musketman in Shaggy to Rifleman.
Monty now has two Cavalry units again threatening Walata.
He also has one cavalry unit in the forest north of Shaggy.
(Our worker is now long gone. Maybe we shouldn't automate our workers?)
Monty also has a Cavalry unit north of Djenne.

Combat III cavalry at Walata attacks Monty's combat II cavalry.
turn7287gu.jpg

(Defeat)
CombatII/pinch rifleman attacks Monty's wounded cavalry. (Victory, at 5.0 health)

Rifleman at Shaggy attacks Montys cavalry in the forest north of city.
turn7294hy.jpg

(Victory)

We have fallen to 2nd place overall (Tied with Nappy really)
- Our Missionary is near Marsellies (NW of Walata), with the stack of pikeman/rifleman. Send the
missionary to Marsellies to spread Hinduism AND we will get advanced warning
of more Aztec Attacks! (*not a bad plan B for that missionary, huh?*)

Our flankingII cavalry was sent to PigPen to act as rapid response in that sector.
PigPen still needs happy faces.

I'm having troubles uploading the savegame.

I think I got it.

Hey liq, is there any part of this forum you haven't been to?
I think I found my answer from a question you asked on a different part of this forum. Too funny! ha ha ha

Summing it all up:

*Whew*

Okay, go get em. That's about it.
I beat him off us. He will continue harrasing our homeland until we invade his empire, so get it done ASAP.
Use that missionary to get hinduism into Marsellies, it will provide valuable intelligence for us.

I have a cannon with combatI/MedicI entering Walata. I've been building some Grenadiers as well you can take along with you on your northern invasion. We may want a few riflemen along as well, and some cavalry. Another cannon would be nice too, but you have to get the attack moving soon. We cannot keep reacting.

Monty had the momentum. I hope I disrupted that, and now I hope to see our next player (Scowler?) gain the initiative and bring our forces into Monty's land and bring the fight to him for a change. If you take at least one city, it is a clear victory for us in this war. (I've littered the ground with his mens corpses.) If we can take a city, any one will do. Just as long as it gets him to stop pillaging our lands. Very annoying!

Keep your eye on our workers! I tried to catch some of them, but I think ALL of our workers have been automated. That means that some of them will find tasks to do in extreamly dangerous situations. And I think auto-workers have been changing our tile improvements on us! Aargh. Stupid workers.

Toku has most of his cavalry in Kagoshima, SE of Angle. If he snaps, you can just handle him like I did Monty. He isn't nearly as much a threat as he was before. Cavalry and catapults is what makes up his main army. What a chump.

Good luck! I am exhausted after that turn, and making screenshots. I hope you all liked my turn-log, I tried to make it informative for you to read and get a feel for what was going on.

If Scowler is following me (or is it percinho... will check that, wait a sec), then I am sure we have no problems.
BRB: checking turn order... Here it is.

Turn order:
Blackluck
Liquidated
Luv_Muffin
Scowler -- Up now! (Go get em!)
Percinho -- warming up
Sir Toma -- the boy is back, and eager!
Greggo -- MIA

Domestic Advisor.

see? easy.

monotone armies are easy... if monty was smart and mixed grens and rifles with all those cav, that would have been a lot more bitter. As it was monty was a moron and rushed his army piecemeal at us...

You didn;t even have to civic change for war footing with whipping and drafts. that was a ton of laid back monty stack busting.. I mean he didn;t even push us enough to to change anything other than a needed troop build-up in the west.

Lots of free exp there for us and keep in mind those cav he threw at us were vets... his next units are gonna be new.

we got coal...pray for oil.

as for the workers I just placed them on auto road as rails coming soon.. eh my bad!

generally when rails come in just spam another 6 workers so rail up.

Cheers!
