SGOTM 01 - V Q

And here I was refraining to post because I didn't want to break the even number.

Welcome back, ChrTh.

Oh and if you guys haven't noticed CFR finished and they did very good too. If you are reading this, Congradulations CFR!

:mischief:

That's so wierd that someone can steal a 1000th post from under you. Have to find the intarweb police and report this mischief.

It's funny how Team One hasn't posted to their thread in about a week, but we keep truckin'

And the Wooden Spoon is still in reach!

I'm guessing, though, that most teams will fatigue on the game, especially if they're going for the Laurels and miss, so that they'll just try to finish it up asap or even abandon it. I believe!

Wow, y'all have to go see what's happening in The Rat Pack thread, pretty interesting. The Wooden Spoon may be in danger

Wooden spoon tho has to be a win... I cannot see how they can get a win from this point...
In permanant war with Gandhi... Who is severly ahead in tech... AI is bad at war abroad... but defending its own land with a tech lead... that works...

Is Gandhi now in a PA or a Definsive pact with FDR? They have peace with FDR again, so I guess it was a DP... If it were a PA, FDR would do the heave Tech part and Gandhi could reap the benifits...
They still have not got HC out of the game either...

I think this is a funny development, "nice" to see I wasnt the only one to "breech protocol"

I haven't looked at the save yet, so I'm not sure. Maybe the Perm Peace (or Perm War) flag is really a "can't change status" flag?

That is correct.. seems the defensive pact was somehow able to work around this thou.. :)

Looks like RatPack is looking to concede... so our spoon may still be safe!

Course now Realms Beyond is trying for domination when they could backdoor diplo easily... Given the land situation on this map, they may take longer unless they back into a diplo win.

Did anyone notice in their perusal of the other team's threads... did anyone NOT found on the hill SW of the start position? I ask only because I remember how much thought and work we put into this and was hoping someone(s) would take a different tact and show us how that worked out.

I think everyone cheated and waited to see what we were going to do ;)

I just saw from the spoiler that Queen's Men didn't found in the plains hill but the tile just south of the starting spot.

I know many people were saying that we played too fast but the way I see it, the people still playing now are rushing to finish it. I think some of the teams might even finish later than us if they manage to finish the game.

We did make some mistakes... Dont know if they were due to us beeing in a hurry tho....

On the otherhand if you take more your time and would play the same sets of 10 or 15 turns for every team....
Lets say you MUST play your first 100 before may 31st and cannot go beyond turn 120 before June 5th or something ...

Then every team must comply to that and everyone can "stay in sink" everyone hopefully finishing in the same timeframe... or there abouts... Would make monotoring the scores and such more fun I guess.... :)
