SGOTM 09 - Maintenance Thread

So discussion for the next game? You said already that there wouldn't be another sgotm under 3.17. So will we wait for 3.19 or go to vanilla (or even warlords...). Personally I would rather wait, but it is not up to me.
I see no benefit in running a Warlords or vanilla game now.
- BtS software is now pretty cheap, so I think it unlikely that anyone interested in playing SGOTMs would not have it and prefer to play it. If we went back to an earlier variant, we may well lose more players than we would gain.
- Version 3.19, and its associated HoF Mod, have a number of game play fixes that are not available in the other variants, reducing the range of exploits available.
- I'm pretty sure Gyathaar is cooking up an interesting proposition for you all. You may also like what you see with regard to the next HoF Mod.. Watch this space
