67: Pasture on Sheep near Argos is ready. Knossos is founded and starts Granary. Worker on w chop, Worker from Wheat go to N from Knossos and chop. Thebes grows to 2, works on Cow and Wheat. FP W from Athens is ready.
68: GS is born in Sparta - go to Athens and settle. Scientists in sparta reset to Forests. Athens grow to 15. Worker SE from Argos go N and chop. Dan responded on my enquiry on when barbs stop spawning:
http://forums.civfanatics.com//showpost.php?p=8098680&postcount=53
Namely, when weighted average era rounded down in Reni. That is, if we spread out Genetics no get many AI into Modern era, barbs will stop spawning - as we got an empirical hint when making test maps.

As for attacks from barbcities, it is all defined by unit AI. Maybe, when in tests barbs stop attacking, our units start posing a threat to Atlantis, so they produce more garrison-AI units? Do they relaunch their attacks later?

Joao has enough on his hands - we've recently refused to give him Alpha, so we might be in for it. Unfortunate, as we're preparing for a war with Hammurabi after Oxford.

So, now we have all 6 Universities and started Oxford in Athens (5 turns). We also researched Calendar and start Mausoleum in Corinf (8 turns). In common we have a plan to fight against Hammi with Mace, Cats and Airships. Mycenai will push culture from NW tile so we will have only 1 turn to Babylon. After capturing it we will expand safely (GW). But it looks like Hammy will research Music and will build some Wonders becase he stopped expansion and don't build defence. In this case we will have trubles with Babylon and Nippur Culture (possible Culture Bomb), especially on Quick, where Culture Bomp produses culture for 5 radius... :(
So it looks like we should go to Music first. THis way we can catch several rabbits: GA for future Golden Ages (if we will not have GP it's critical), abuility to produce Culture in Mycenai, no trubles with Culture Bomb, no-important teches for trading with AI. May be we will even research both Literatue and Drama because in any case we shoul research Philo after Biology for Pacifism.
The best way could be if Hammi will build Pyramids for us... :)

It turns out barbs heal after damage while moving, but only for the first turn - then they have to stand still if they want to heal.

I played my 10 turns from 200AD to 500AD. Things got ugly as Joao DoWed on us as expected and broght a crossbow & an archer to Knossos. First I wanted to sacrifice a cat so that the crossbow gets damaged, and then finish him off with phalanxes. But a damaged crossbow with 4.8 poser kills the cat with 5.0 power without taking any damage; so I retreat from the tile 1SE of Knossos into the city. This allows the barbs to make a landing (before that the barbs commited suicide by launching amphibious attacks). They land more and more units, but for some reason they don't attack our city (even though they should have reasonable chances), but just stockpile units. Luckily some of them launch suicidal attacks on the portugues crossbows, so the number of barb units doesn't grow that quickly. Currently there are 4 barbs near Knossos (2 swords & 2 axes), and 3 portuguese units (2 damaged crossbows, 5.2 and 2.2 out of 6 and a sword). Joao doesn't want to talk yet, and his power is growing.

Other then that everything is going according to the plan. We built Oxford and Mausoleum of Mausallos; workers are chaining irrigation; we learnt Litearture, Drama, Music, Engineering and Gunpowder is due in 1 turn. Unfortunately we didn't get as much gold from the AI as we expected, so we are running out of gold now. The settler in Greenland is ready, and we can settle on this turn; it is up to the next player whether to settle on the forest or 1S of the forest. We got the GA from Music and should get the next GP in Athens soon. We should soon take control of the tile SE,SE of Babylon, and we are mobilising for war. The maces and cats are gathering near Knossos, but we need to make a plan on how to clear the mess there ASAP loosing as few units as possible.

Bad news - turns out AI will refuse to talk twice as long as usual if he is is the aggressor, unless our military success is significantly greater. Had we known that, we'd launched a preemptive DoW on Joao.

So far our attack on Babylon is delayed until ~turn 97. Hoping Hammy is not learning Feudalism.
