I don't think we can rely on ToA for us to win because we will need to get to the other continent to get the win, thus will need to get Either Navigation Magnetism for the win, thus we need more than that, but I think it is important for us to try and get to MT ASAP and use them to blast our enemy to smitherines. Plus I think it might be good for us to try and get Steam engines and Communism.

Preturn. I declare on the Indians. I kill the warrior for no loss. I have switched all units to either Impis or Horse so that we can have a fast war.

IBT. We declare war on the Japanese after they want us to move. We are now at war with the whole alliance. They attack us and we ar now in a golden age.

They attacked with and Archer and our Impi is 1/4. The Indians attack us with a warrior and we defeat it and are now 4/5


Turn one.
We produce a Horse and Impi.
4/4 Horse verses 3/3 Jap spear , retreated 1/4 Horse and 2/3 spear
5/5 Horse verses 2/3 Spear, dead spear and 4/5 Horse
We now have Nara

IBT. We lose New Rochelle to rioting

Turn two.
We produce a few more horses

IBT. We defeat the Barbs as they atack our Impis. An Indian warrior and two Chinese archers are near our new town.

Turn three. We kill the warrior but we did not get a great leader. We produce more horses.

IBT. The Archers are ready to be killed

Turn Nine. I am resting the troops for another assault on the nations, but beware as most nations now have Pikes, if they have Iron.

IBT. We lose our slaves but we will get them back next turn.

Turn 10. We kill the archer that retook the slaves.

The next few turns should hoepfully mean that we can go on and become a major power in destroying the first alliance that we have gone to war with. So far only Korea and Japan have Iron so that should make short work of the teams.

I like it!

Zimbabwe has 20 spt producing either a Medievil infantry of a horseman every 2 turns. I suggest pumping out some MI there.

With those captured workers we might consider boosting our population in one or two cities with workers of our own: it'll increase production and income and will decrease upkeep costs.

some questions:
- what will we do when a GL appears?
I'm in favor of a MI army

- What is our immidiate objective in this war?
I think the great wall and the temple of artemis should be our primary goals: capturing those will make us so much stronger we could wage effective war after our GA.
 
I would prefer a fast moving army, if we have knights by then, I would prefer that. Considering the troops that we have, we need to make this advantage count. Hopefully we can get more luxs so that we can start to grow some of our core cities to town size and get improved unit support and improved commerce.

Well, I don't if it's appropriate, but I'm for taking the save if no one else does soon, or at least says they will, and then passing off to JammerUno. Then we'll go from there. I'll give it to tomorrow or Friday, but then I'm grabbing it.
 
Whoever playes next, we will be having a very strict rule in playing since we have allowed things to get out of hand, even if it is just three players playing. We must post that we have the save within 24hours of the previous player and then you have 24 hours to play it, no if's or buts.

I PM'd your Missing In Action players, but have had no replies, so I suggest you assume they've retired. Good to see Own is still in the game :thumbsup:
 
I will pick it up either tonight after midnight or tomorrow morning. I will then play the set and get it back up asap, barring any emergency. I should have it back for the next person by tomorrow afternoon/evening either way. Thanks.

Edit: Actually, we should still do ok with a 4 man team. As long as were communicating as a team if anyone needs a skip we shouldn't have any trouble, just don't leave all together. :goodjob:

Further Edit: I have just emailed the save to myself, I am at work now. I get home about 01:00 and I might be able to start then. If not, I will tomorrow as I stated above. Any input or advice? We are still a team, although of smaller number.

I didn't keep detailed notes, if not enough detail I can do more next time, please just let me know.

We destroyed canton size 7, captured calcutta size 1, razed an indian city size 1 that I forgot the name, and razed a chinese city nearby size 1 both these last two on the west coast of this area. We got about 8 more slaves, but I haven't been utulising them too much trying to get them back to a place to work. The line of slaves fortified past the two captured chinese cities are to block Arabian settlers from exploiting the empty spaces. The chinese have already replaced a city on the spot of canton. I got a leader assaulting calcutta and walked him back to tsingtao to form an army, I put horsemen in the army to maintain swift units. The main upside being we are building the heroic epic in zimb.

Losses: about 4 impi, 2 swords, 10 horsemen
Kills: 6 archers, 10 spearmen, 8 horsemen, 5 swordsmen, 2 mideaval inf., 2 ancient cavalry, 3 settlers, and 1 worker.

The Arabs turned around, but watch, they might return, the slaves were the only way I could think to stop them. Also, the Indians have already got another city on the coast, couldn't get to it because of a stack of Jap swords. Right now, most of our problem has come from Japan, the Korean Chinese and Indians combined have countered with less units than Japan. I think we should try to fight our way through and knock out Japan completely take their statue of Zeus and Temple of Artimis, plus start building Knights and we should really turn this around.
